Study On The Contemporary Value Of Costume Patterns In Cantonese Opera

The localization of social ideology gave birth to the rich and colorful local opera culture in Chinese society.In the early period,Guangdong was the main area of ideological and cultural exchange between China and the West,and Cantonese opera was born on this land with unique regional and cultural characteristics.Cantonese opera records the characteristics of the development of Guangdong art and culture.It is a combination of Guangdong thought and culture in a specific period,and an important part of people’s spiritual and cultural life.It has a strong epochal character.Cantonese opera costume pattern not only has an irreplaceable position in the performing arts,but also is an important carrier of the inheritance of Cantonese opera art,with highly unified artistic characteristics of content and form.Therefore,through field research on Cantonese opera costume museums in Guangdong,this paper collects documents and materials related to the patterns of Cantonese opera costumes,sorts them out,and conducts in-depth research on the patterns of Cantonese opera costumes to explore their academic and contemporary value.By exploring the origin and evolution of Cantonese opera costumes,this paper analyzes the development process and humanistic characteristics of patterns in Cantonese opera costumes.By sorting out the theme and content expression of Cantonese opera costume patterns,and based on the principle of pattern composition and the law of formal beauty,the composition form and combination form of Cantonese opera costume patterns arc analyzed.Meanwhile,the color characteristics of Cantonese opera costume patterns in Ling nan region and the process embroidery material with the cast wind descending to the west arc analyzed.It excavates the artistic and cultural value of costume patterns in terms of composition,color and craft embroidery materials,explains the cultural connotation contained in the costume patterns of Cantonese opera from the perspective of folklore,explains the humanistic spirit of Ling nan region behind them,and analyzes the regional image of Ling nan and its contemporary value.Finally,the application value of Cantonese opera costume patterns in the design of cultural and creative products is found in the form composition rules,cultural spirit and regional characteristics of Cantonese opera costume patterns.Based on the investigation and induction of Cantonese opera cultural and creative products,the feasibility of using Cantonese opera costume patterns in the innovative design of cultural and creative products is discussed.
