Research On The Application Of The Artistic Characteristics Of Guizhou Nuo Opera Mask In Contemporary Costume Design

The Nuo culture is a treasure in the treasure house of Chinese traditional culture.It is a multi-culture that integrates a variety of folklore,religion and art,and is the carrier of human primitive spiritual civilization.The Guizhou Nuo culture is famous for its variety,hierarchy and preservation.It follows the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.The paper uses Guizhou Nuo culture as the research entry point.Guizhou Nuo opera masks are used as research objects for analysis.Research and extract the mask elements that can be used in contemporary fashion design,and try to integrate it into contemporary fashion design with modern clothing design language and design concept.The thesis mainly studies from three aspects.Firstly,a brief overview of the Nuo culture and the Guizhou Nuo culture,it is convenient for us to have a basic understanding of the Nuo culture,which is embodied in the analysis and summary of the masks used in the operas and different operas,analyzes and summarizes the external artistic features of the masks of Guizhou and the masks of inner emotional element.Finally,it analyzes the development prospects of Chinese elements in fashion design and the innovation trend of today’s fashion design.It extracts the design elements that can be applied to the clothing from the mask of the Nuo opera,and discusses how to apply it to the clothing design reasonably.Making the corresponding design examples is the core part of the paper.Under the impact of the modern scientific concept,the existence of the culture of Nuo is facing a severe test.Therefore,the study of the integration of Nuo culture and contemporary fashion design has important cultural and practical significance.On the one hand,it can be related to Nuo culture and Guizhou Nuo culture.Play a propaganda role,let more people have a deeper understanding and cognition,so that it can be better passed down and developed;on the other hand,it can enrich the design materials of clothing and provide new design ideas for contemporary clothing design.The combination of traditional culture and modern fashion makes the costumes present the traditional cultural characteristics unique to Guizhou nationalities and folk customs,conveying the spirit of the times,thoughts and emotions,and cultural connotations,so that the design is sublimated to the cultural connotation and expression of thought and emotion from the simple use of the surface elements of Guizhou Nuo opera masks.
