Research On The Coupling And Coordinated Development Of Agricultural Economy And Ecological Environment In Jilin Province

The agricultural economy concerns the nation,and the ecological environment concerns the people’s well-being and future generations.With the rapid development of our economy and society,the construction and protection of ecological environment has increasingly become the key to affecting our all-round development.Protecting the ecological environment is to enhance productivity,improving the ecological environment is the basis of agricultural economic development,and promoting the formation of harmonious development between man and nature is an inevitable requirement of modernization in the new era.In recent years,the pace of agricultural economic development in Jilin Province has been accelerated,but the ecological environment is facing serious challenges due to the ecological space being occupied,the degradation of ecological system and the decline of the supply capacity of ecological products.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the coupling and coordinated development of agricultural economy and ecological environment in Jilin Province for promoting the high-quality development of agricultural economy and maintaining ecological security.Based on the theories of ecological economics,coupling coordination and sustainable development,this paper selects 20 secondary indexes from the perspectives of agricultural economy and ecological environment to construct the evaluation index system of coupling development level by collecting and sorting out relevant literatures and combining with the actual development situation of Jilin Province.The entropy method was used to measure the development level of agricultural economy and ecological environment in Jilin Province from 2006 to 2021.The coupling model and coupling coordination model were used to conduct coupling coordination empirical analysis of Jilin Province and its cities(prefectures),and OLS regression model was used to explore the influencing factors of coupling and coordination development of agricultural economy and ecological environment in Jilin Province.Among the findings:(1)From 2006 to 2021,the comprehensive development level of agricultural economy and ecological environment both fluctuated and increased.From 2006 to2017,the comprehensive development level of ecological environment lagged behind the comprehensive development level of agricultural economy.In 2018-2019,the agricultural economy slightly lagged behind the comprehensive development level of the ecological environment.During 2020-2021,the two tend to be in a state of coordinated development.(2)From the provincial level,the coupling degree of agricultural economy and ecological environment in Jilin Province from 2006 to 2021 is always in a highly coupling state,and the coupling degree of both is very high.The coupling coordination degree showed a steady upward trend,from barely dissonant in 2006 to high-quality coordination in 2021,and the development level of coupling coordination kept improving.(3)From the city level,most of the cities(prefectures)in Jilin Province are in a highly coupled state,and the coupling coordination development level is constantly improving,but there are some differences between different cities(prefectures).Among them,the coupling coordination between Liaoyuan City and Baishan City is better;The coupling coordination development of Changchun City and Siping City is relatively slow,most of the cases stay in moderate coordination and good coordination,and there is still room for improvement.(4)Reservoir capacity,the proportion of added value of the primary industry in the GDP,rural electricity consumption,forest coverage rate and local fiscal environmental protection expenditure had positive effects on the coupling and coordinated development of agricultural economy and ecological environment in Jilin Province,among which the forest coverage rate had the greatest impact.The amount of agricultural plastic film has a negative effect on the development of coupling coordination.Finally,according to the empirical results and local conditions,this paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to promote the coupling and coordinated development of agricultural economy and ecological environment in Jilin Province.
