| Ecotourism is considered a "prescription" to coordinate biodiversity and improve livelihoods in protected natural areas and has become one of the best ways to build a new Human-earth relationship and promote regional sustainable development.Three-river-source National Park is one of the first national parks established in China. In order to coordinate conservation and development,we must pay more attention to the livelihood of the residents in the national park and its surrounding areas. However, there are few studies on the influencing factors of the resilience of national park residents, especially in the context of ecotourism development. Therefore, this research studied the influencing factors and configuration paths of livelihood resilience in the Yellow River Source of Three-river-source National Park from ecotourism. We expect this study can provide a reference for developing livelihood support policies and tourism development policies in similar areas. As well as provides valuable suggestions for improving the resilience level of residents’ livelihood in national park areas. To deeply analyze the influencing factors and configuration path of livelihood resilience. This research starts with resilience theory, configuration theory and sustainable development theory. Then it takes the Yellow River residents of Three-river-source National Park as the research object.Based on grounded theory, this research explores the influencing factors of livelihood resilience. Moreover, construct the influencing factors model of residents’ livelihood resilience from ecotourism. The relationship between adaptation ability, transformation ability, cognitive psychological change, tourism development environment,multi-source disturbance and change, and livelihood resilience was analyzed. This research used fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis(fs QCA)to analyze the combination of factors that produce high and low livelihood resilience and further explored the formation mechanism and configuration path of livelihood resilience. The results showed that:(1)The level of livelihood resilience was not determined by a single factor but was influenced by the combination of multiple factors.(2)The two configuration paths can produce high livelihood resilience, and adaptation ability and cognitive psychological change are the core factors of high livelihood resilience.(3)Two configuration paths led to low livelihood resilience, which had an asymmetric relationship with the configuration of high livelihood resilience. The influencing factors leading to high livelihood resilience were not the opposite of those leading to low livelihood resilience. Therefore,to effectively improve community residents’ resilience level of Three-river-source National Park,we should first break qualitative thinking and establish a holistic coordination view. Then change thought cognition, improve participation intention;optimize resource utilization and improve adaptability;standardize the development environment of the tourism industry and strengthen the capacity for livelihood transformation. The innovation of this research is in the following aspects:(1)The innovative use of grounded theory method to analyze the influencing factors of livelihood resilience of Threeriver-source National Park communities from the perspective of ecotourism and the construction of influencing factors model of livelihood resilience of national park communities from the perspective of ecotourism. It enriches the research content of livelihood resilience.(2)The qualitative comparative analysis method was innovatively applied to the study of livelihood resilience. The results showed that the method was applicable in exploring multiple causal problems such as livelihood resilience.(3)It innovatively studied the factor configuration of low livelihood resilience, breaking the qualitative thinking of existing research results that only focused on the influencing factors of high livelihood resilience. |
