Research On The Development Of Ecological Tourism In Xingshan County,hubei Province Under The Background Of Rural Revitalization

Rural revitalization strategy is a major national strategy currently being implemented in China.The overall requirements for rural revitalization are thriving industries,livable ecology,civilized rural customs,effective governance,and prosperous life,which are also the conditions and goals for developing rural ecological tourism.The hot topic that China urgently needs to study is how to effectively develop ecological tourism with the excellent ecological environment,characteristic agriculture,folk customs,and other resource conditions in rural areas and achieve the goals of increasing villagers’ income,thriving rural industries,livable ecology,and effective governance.This is also a key issue for the successful implementation of the rural revitalization strategy.Ecotourism is a sustainable tourism type that promotes environmental protection,advocates green concepts,and advocates a high degree of harmony between humans and nature.Ecotourism considers economic benefits,environmental benefits,and social benefits.Against the backdrop of China’s ecological civilization construction,ecotourism has become an important and effective way to promote sustainable development in rural areas and to promote rural revitalization.Xingshan County is located in Yichang City,Hubei Province,and is the link between the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River and Shennongjia.Xingshan County has abundant ecological tourism resources,with a forest coverage rate of over 88% and eight major types of tourism resources,which provide excellent conditions for the development of rural ecological tourism.In recent years,Xingshan County has been actively developing rural ecological tourism and has achieved good results in agricultural ecotourism,resource development,tourism products,and project construction.However,it has also encountered many obstacles and problems in environmental protection,market development,community participation,etc.,which have to some extent constrained the sustainable development of its ecotourism.This article is based on relevant theories of ecotourism development,such as sustainable development theory,industry integration theory,and community participation theory.It conducts research on the development of ecotourism in Xingshan County through research methods such as literature review,field investigation,and questionnaire survey.Based on the analysis of Xingshan County’s ecological tourism resources,development conditions,and the current situation of ecological tourism development,the article collected 350 valid questionnaires through a local survey and analyzed the survey data using SPSS,conducting research on the source market of Xingshan County’s ecological tourism.Combining theoretical background,development status,and market research analysis,it was found that Xingshan County’s ecotourism development faces problems such as low community participation,lack of sustainable planning for ecotourism,slow development of ecotourism,lack of connotation in tourism products,insufficient tourism management talents,unbalanced development between regions,and insufficient implementation of local policies.In response to these problems,the article proposes countermeasures and suggestions such as "improving community participation,formulating sustainable development plans,developing ecological scenic areas reasonably,learning from benchmark cultural and creative cases,actively introducing management talents,integrating ecology,agriculture,and tourism,and improving the implementation of rural revitalization policies".This is intended to provide scientific basis and reference for the healthy and sustainable development of ecotourism in Xingshan County and for rural revitalization,and can also provide references for the development of ecotourism in other counties.
