A Study On The Expression Of Watercolor Painting Language Of Ethnic Patterns In The "Charm Of Qiang Embroidery"

This study mainly explores the integration of watercolor painting language and Qiang embroidery patterns through the group painting of the author’s watercolor practical work“Charm of Qiang Embroidery”.During the creation of the work,the author’s special feelings for Qiang embroidery were reflected and the painting concept was practiced with the work.In the process of writing the paper,clarify the subordinate relationship between Qiang embroidery patterns and ethnic patterns,then collect a large number of Qiang embroidery patterns,and then analyze the basis of watercolor language expression in relevant patterns,and focus on the analysis of the theme style,color characteristics,and modeling characteristics of Qiang embroidery patterns.Finally,the author created the "Qiang Embroidery Charm",which highlights the formal language expression and spiritual language expression of the work.In order to broaden the expression boundary of watercolor painting language and enrich the visual effect of watercolor painting,this work attempts to create watercolor works with mysterious ethnic color through the unique material characteristics and performance techniques of watercolor painting,combined with patterns that embody the Qiang ethnic spirit.
