A Study On Procurement Management Optimization Of G Packaging Company With Supply Chain Thinking

In the dynamic business environment and the global economic integration,the complexity of procurement demand and the removal of national boundaries of procurement regions have put forward great requirements for the procurement management of enterprises.Traditional procurement management has gradually lost its advantage in the competition of modern enterprises.At the same time,supply chain has become one of the most important components of commercial organizations,and supply chain management focusing on the overall situation has increasingly brought new competitive advantages and development opportunities.Procurement management with supply chain thinking,as an important part of supply chain management,focuses on a more macroscopic and overall situation,can help enterprises to obtain richer and higher quality resources at lower cost and higher speed in competition,so as to enhance their competitiveness.Therefore,it is becoming more and more important to apply supply chain thinking to procurement management.This paper takes the current situation of procurement management of G Packaging Company as the research object,based on the difficulties encountered in procurement management,under the guidance of supply chain thinking,using supply chain management theory and procurement management theory as the theoretical basis,combining domestic and foreign research results,successfully detected the problems in supplier management,process management,human resource management and information management in procurement.Then,by using Kraljic matrix,5W2 H framework,STAR model,SMART analysis,the four widely used tools in supply chain management for analysis,the procurement management optimization strategy of G Company was formulated from the above four aspects.In the final segment,the effective implementation of the optimization strategy is guaranteed from four aspects: continuous management to suppliers,process optimization follow-up,training and cultural guarantee on organization level,and random inspection & customer review.For G company,a special company with single function of procurement and closely dependents on the survival and development of its supply chain,the study on procurement management optimization with supply chain thinking can help it solve the current difficulties,enhance its core competitiveness and gradually improve its reputation and image of brand.The practice and application experience accumulated in the whole progress will not only guide the future development of G company,but also have important reference significance to other companies in the same industry.At the same time,the research on supply chain management and procurement management of companies with single procurement function is very rare currently,this study can expand relevant experience and enrich theoretical knowledge in related fields.
