Research On Risk Management Of Z Company’s Software Outsourcing Project

The main business of Z company is railway fuel oil sales and distribution.In the construction of railway fuel Internet of Things security control system,Z company has no full-time software developers,and it takes time and effort to recruit and train temporarily.Therefore,Z Company introduces outsourcing companies to complete software development.However,Z Company did not establish a scientific and complete risk management process when managing the software development of outsourcing companies,and the project management personnel of Z Company did not realize the importance of project risk management.Z company lacks experience accumulation of risk management,qualitative and quantitative risk analysis,risk response strategies and effective risk control means in previous projects.As a result,the software outsourcing project of Z company faces many problems,which may lead to the failure of the project.Therefore,this research is to solve the problem of risk management of company Z’s software outsourcing project,establish a software outsourcing risk management plan of Z company,and use this research plan to reduce the risk control cost and ensure the success rate of the project.Therefore,the research content revolves around the railway fuel Internet of Things safety management and control system project,summarizes the problems existing in the software outsourcing project of Z Company,uses domestic and foreign theoretical research methods,carries out risk identification in stages,then establishes a risk model for risk ranking,and then combines expert experience to propose countermeasures policies and monitoring measures.The research methods selected in this paper include literature reading method,Delphi questionnaire survey and expert judgment method,management decision analysis method(analytic hierarchy process)and so on.Finally,through research,we get 14 risk items of Z company’s software outsourcing project,and comprehensively ranked the 14 risk items in terms of risk probability,degree of influence,degree of loss of control,etc.,and obtained 4 major risks,5 medium risks and 5 lower risks,respectively formulate countermeasures and monitoring measures.In a word,the completion of the construction of the risk management process of the software outsourcing project of the Z company has effectively improved the project success rate and accumulated practical experience for the software outsourcing projects of the Z company and the industry in which the Z company is located.
