Maintenance Outsourcing Management Of Automation Control System In Company ABC

With the development of science and technology,division of labor is more refined,and a company could not own all the resources of its business processes.Companies must put their limited resources to focus on their core business and enhance core competitiveness to ensure the corporate profits,so that businesses can be developed sustainably.Outsourcing came into being in such circumstances,an enterprise will transfer non-core business operations to the specialized third-party company,and use external resources for internal production and services to make up their own insufficient resources,thereby to achieve cost savings,concentrate on its core business and access to professional services etc.As a modern management model,outsourcing is adopted by more and more enterprises in order to better cope with the competitive market pressures.This paper analyzes the current situation of automation control system maintenance in ABC Company,and point out the major problem and analyzes the reasons.Based on the two-dimensional outsourcing decision matrix,this paper uses core competence theory,value chain analysis theory and transaction cost theory to get the suggestions of maintenance outsourcing.The outsourcing process are managed by following five phases(outsourcing decision-making phase,the service provider selection phase,contract phase,outsourcing transition phase,outsourcing relationship management phase).Company can make the right outsourcing decision and strengthen the management of service providers,thereby ensure the smooth progress of outsourcing and the continuous development of the business.
