| This paper examines, the problems of risk management in construction projects using a knowledge-based approach, and proposes a methodology based on a three-fold arrangement that includes the modeling of the risk management function, its evaluation, and the availability of a practices model. Some particular concern is the fact that more than half of all occupational accidents in Mongolia are caused by occupational accidents. Therefore, use The Delphi analyzes to similar project safety information and risk management systems of national and international scientists and lists project risk identification in terms of human factors, materials, equipment factors, environmental factors, and organizational management factors. This paper introduces relevant theoretical knowledge, identifies, analyzes and evaluates safety risks according to the actual situation of the “Solar district” project, and finally formulates possible methods to overcome the situation in combination with the evaluation results. An overall Risk Management Framework is consisting of five components such as risk drivers, risk management influencers, decision maker characteristics, risk management responses and performance out comes. The majority of focus is given towards the influencers of risks.Risks are obviously arising from wide range of and having broad scope of possible effects on the project. Therefore, since every project are naturally endorsed with risks, proper risk management strategy has the ability to convert those risks in to positive drivers. All of these issues are reflected in the standard, and the experience of how to apply them to the Mongolian context is enriched with international experience.A major preliminary conclusion of this research is the fact that risk management in construction projects is still very ineffective and that the main cause of this situation is the lack of knowledge. |
