| Comprehensive green transformation is an essential issue for China’s economic and social development during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.Agriculture is a natural green industry.Promoting the comprehensive green transformation of agriculture is an inevitable choice to break through the shackles of resources and the environment,the contradiction between supply and demand structure,the hidden dangers of food safety,and achieving high-quality development and rural revitalization.Under the background of the era when the "dual carbon" goal guides green transformation,the potential role of agricultural green development in achieving the "dual carbon" goal cannot be ignored because of its characteristics of "emission reduction" and "sink increase" at the same time.Promoting the green transformation of agriculture is a long-term and arduous systematic project.A series of measures and practices have been taken from top-level design to specific actions,but there are still problems such as low green awareness and extensive production methods.In the critical period of comprehensive rural revitalization,pollution reduction,and carbon reduction,how to break through the practical obstacles of green transformation in the whole process has become an urgent problem solved.The thematic research on the temporal and spatial differences and factors influencing China’s agricultural green development in the new era can provide essential data support and policy choices for the comprehensive and in-depth promotion of green agrarian development.Based on combing relevant literature and theories,this paper redefines the connotation of agricultural green development in combination with the requirements of the times.Starting from improving quality and efficiency,strengthening support and guidance,enhancing development momentum,select economical,policy,and technical factors that may affect the green development of agriculture,and analyzing their mechanism of action.Based on theoretical connotation,policy requirements,and data constraints,a provincial agricultural green development level indicator system is constructed,including five dimensions: resource utilization,production area environment,ecosystem,growth quality,and human settlement environment.Based on taking into account the time-series dynamic changes of the importance of indicators and the double comparability of the calculation results "time-province," the agricultural green development level of 31 provinces from 2011 to 2019 is calculated.The regional differences,distribution evolution,and state transition of agriculture green development are analyzed by statistical tools such as Dagum Gini coefficient,Kernel density estimation,and Markov chain.On the basis of the previous theoretical mechanism analysis,this paper test the influence effect of each factor and conducts heterogeneity analysis and robustness test.Conclusions include:(1)China’s agricultural green development level has increased year by year,mainly due to the improvement of the environmental quality of the production area.The difference in the overall agriculture green development level across the country is gradually narrowing,and the primary sources of the overall difference are different under different grouping methods.During the sample period,there is no multi-level differentiation in the level of agriculture green development,and it is easier to jump from the lowest level to other classes.(2)The empirical analysis on the influencing factors of agriculture green development shows that urbanization and industrial agglomeration significantly impact agriculture green development among economic factors.Among policy factors,environmental regulation policies have little effect.Among the technical factors,the impact of environmentally friendly agricultural technology is significant,while the impact of digital technology has not yet emerged.At the same time,in different regions and at varying levels of agriculture green development,there is heterogeneity in the influence of various factors on agriculture green development.Based on the results of quantitative analysis,countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for further promoting the comprehensive green transformation of agriculture. |
