With the continuous development of modern industry, the ecological problems faced by human beings, such as ecological environment deterioration and resource shortage, have attracted more and more attention. In order to find a way to solve the ecological problems, people respectively from different angles to Marx and Engels classic original work to find solutions.Based on Engels’ classic work Dialectics of Nature, this thesis systematically expounds the development course of Engels’ ecological view, the main content of Engels’ ecological view, and its contemporary significance and realistic enlightenment.Any kind of theory is formed and developed in a certain historical and cultural background and certain social development conditions,so is Engels’ ecological view. The formation of Engels’ ecological view has its realistic origin and ideological origin. In the mid-19 th century, the capitalist mode of production developed greatly. The industrial Revolution and the development of science greatly increased productivity and promoted the development of productive forces. The ancient Greek view of nature, the mechanical materialism view of nature and the German classical philosophy view of nature had a profound impact on Engels’ ecological view.Engels’ ecological concept has experienced a process of emergence, development and maturity. The materialist dialectical view of nature is the theoretical basis of Engels’ ecological view.Engels’ materialistic and dialectical view of nature holds that nature is an organic whole of universal connection, movement and change, and development.Nature is a developing process from low to high and from simple to complex.Things in nature follow the development of laws from quantitative change to qualitative change, from affirmation to negation to negation of negation, opposition and unity. These dialectic laws are objective laws extracted from nature and human society. The core of Engels’ ecological concept is the dialectical relationship between man and nature.Engels believed that man came from nature and labor played a key role in the transition from ape to man.The relationship between man and nature in labor is: nature is the basis of human existence and development, and human beings have positive and active effects on nature.Engels believed that human beings and nature in the world are fused together through labor. There are various forms of human activity, but no matter how the form of activity changes, labor is always the most basic activity,it determines other activities,is the total source of human reality contradiction. Therefore,in this sense, only when ecological harmony is reflected in labor, all other activities based on labor will achieve ecological harmonious development. In the process of coordinating the relationship between man and nature, the realization of the reconciliation between man and nature and man and man is the end of value of Engels’ ecological view. Finally,While affirming the great changes brought by science and technology to human beings,Engels also saw the negative effects brought by science and technology to human ecological environment. It is inevitable for the development of human society to change the mode of production of capitalism, eliminate the alienation of science and technology and realize the ecological civilization of human beings.Today, the global ecological problems are becoming increasingly prominent, and the construction of ecological civilization is an important part of China’s sustainable development. The innovation and practice of Engels’ ecological concept have important theoretical and practical significance for us to realize the harmonious development of man and nature. |
