Research On The Cultivation Of Citizens’ Awareness Of Ecological Civilization In The Post-Epidemic Era

The ecological environment is the foundation of human survival and development.The Sixth Plenary Session of the 19 th CPC Central Committee pointed out that it is necessary to carry out ecological and environmental protection actions in an all-round way and strengthen systematic governance,and promote green development consciously and orderly.The spread of COVID-19 around the world has posed a serious threat to the safety of life and property of people all over the world.This severe test once again shows that all countries in the world are closely connected and the destiny of mankind is closely related.In addition,the current ecological problems such as abnormal climate change,imminent energy crisis,ecosystem degradation and alien species invasion have become increasingly prominent.Therefore,it is very important to enhance citizens’ awareness of ecological civilization,so that all members of society can firmly establish the concept of ecological civilization.To study the cultivation of citizens’ awareness of ecological civilization in the post-epidemic era,it is necessary to expound on the concepts of the post-epidemic era and awareness of ecological civilization,and analyzes the theoretical basis from three aspects: the theory of Marx and Engels on the relationship between man and nature,the ecological civilization thought of the Communist Party of China,and the thought of ecological civilization contained in Chinese traditional culture,so as to provide scientific theoretical guidance.In the post-epidemic era,it is of great value to cultivate citizens’ awareness of ecological civilization,but there are still some problems,such as citizens’ awareness of the subject of ecological civilization is not strong,citizens’ ecological civilization practice is not strong enough,and citizens’ biological security awareness is relatively weak.Therefore,according to the principles of political orientation,development of the times and subject participation followed in the process of cultivating citizens’ awareness of ecological civilization,countermeasures and suggestions are put forward from the aspects of enriching the content of cultivation,using different methods and carriers,and gathering the joint efforts of family,school and society in collaborative cultivation,to promote citizens to form the unity of ecological consciousness and behavior consciousness,and become citizens of all-round development that meet the requirements of the development of the times.Being prepared for possible accidents in advance is the basic practice of governing a country.In the post-epidemic era,people are faced with a complex and volatile environment,the COVID-19 epidemic is capricious and the risk of local outbreaks still exists,the international public opinion environment is complex and the ecological problems remain severe.Therefore,it is necessary to enhance citizens’ awareness of ecological civilization,adhere to the natural concept of “the operation of nature has its own laws”,the consumption concept of “control desire and learn to satisfy”,the equality concept of “man and nature are a community of life”,the moral sentiment of “people with lofty ideals love mountains and rivers”,and the practice path of “mastering the changing laws of nature and making use of them for the benefit of mankind”.People should protect the earth’s environment,respect every life,consciously assume their own responsibilities,jointly build a beautiful China,and promote the harmonious coexistence of man and nature.
