A Study On Influencing Factors Of Urban Residents’ Living Garbage Sorting Behavior

With the vigorous development of the current social economy and the increasing level of urbanization,the resources required by urban residents in daily life are also increasing,which has led to a rapid increase in the production of urban domestic waste,and the discharge of a large amount of domestic waste has caused serious damage to the ecological environment.It has brought a series of environmental problems,and the classification and management of urban domestic waste has become a major problem in current urban management.However,in the reality of domestic waste classification in the community,due to the influence of many factors such as imperfect supporting classification facilities,imperfect existing systems and mechanisms,insufficient social capital governance efficiency,and different environmental values of residents,a society for the classification of domestic waste has not yet formed fashion.In view of this,it is of great theoretical value and practical significance to explore the influencing factors of residents’ domestic waste classification behavior and propose corresponding control measures for solving the urban waste dilemma.On the basis of literature research and theoretical analysis,this paper conducts an in-depth study on the influencing factors of domestic waste classification behavior from the three dimensions of government,society and residents,and builds a theoretical model of the influencing factors of residents’ living classification behavior.Taking Hefei City,one of the46 key cities for national waste classification,as the survey area,specific data were obtained by randomly distributing questionnaires to residents in the Hefei City community.First,analyze the current situation of household waste classification in Hefei City through descriptive statistics: Hefei residents have a high level of overall awareness of household waste classification,and most residents have a positive attitude towards household waste classification.However,there are differences in residents’ enthusiasm for sorting different types of domestic waste.At the same time,the vast majority of residents showed a high willingness to classify,and the willingness to classify and the behavior of classification were relatively synchronized.Secondly,the reliability analysis and validity test of the data are carried out to ensure the reliability and validity of the questionnaire.Through correlation analysis and regression analysis,it is found that the main factors affecting residents’ domestic waste classification behavior are: government propaganda and guidance,supporting classification facilities,and reward and punishment measures;social social trust and social norms;residents’ classification cognition,Residents’ willingness to classify all had a significant positive relationship with residents’ domestic waste classification behavior.Through the difference analysis of individual characteristic variables,it is found that personal characteristic variables such as age,educational background and political outlook show significant differences in household waste classification behavior,while personal characteristic variables such as gender,occupation,and monthly income are used in household waste classification.There were no significant differences in behavior.Finally,combined with the data analysis results,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote the continuous generation of residents’ domestic waste classification behavior from the government,society and residents.In general,this paper reveals the specific relevant factors affecting the household waste classification behavior of residents in Hefei City as a whole,and provides a relevant theoretical basis for how to effectively promote residents’ participation in household waste classification.
