Research And Innovative Application Of Yi Women’s Traditional Costumes In Jinping County,Honghe Prefecture,Yunnan Province

As a symbol of ethnic culture,clothing is one of the symbols of material wealth and spiritual culture in this ethnic civilization system.The object of this thesis is that the traditional costumes of the Yi women in the Apu branch of the Dixibei village of Jinping County and the Mujipo of Shuituzhai Village in Hongping Prefecture still maintain the traditional style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.The inspiration for design innovation is of great research value.This paper explores the historical origins of the traditional costumes of the Yi women in the Dixibei village and the Shuituzhai Village from the perspective,the natural environment,social environment and humanistic environment of the Yi in Jinping County.Then,from the four aspects of the costume structure,decorative color,decorative patterns,materials and crafts,the characteristics of these two Dai women’s traditional costumes were studied,compared and analyzed.Finally,the paper summarizes the regular characteristics of these two women’s traditional costumes,discusses the feasibility of the innovative design of modern clothing,and carries out the practice of garment innovation design.Through this research,the research on the subject of the Yi costumes has been enriched,which has important significance for promoting the inheritance and innovation of the ethnic costume culture.
