| In recent years,the rapid advancement of the urbanization process has brought enormous pressure on the ecological environment.At the same time,the ecoenvironmental quality also affects the urbanization process and sustainable development.The urbanization and eco-environment are a coupling relationship of mutual coercion and influence.Exploring the coupling coordination relationship between urbanization and eco-environment not only helps to complete the theoretical framework of coupled human and natural systems,but also has important reference value and practical significance for ecological civilization and regional sustainable development.For the study of the coupling relationship between urbanization and the ecoenvironment,previous studies only considered the interaction between local urbanization and eco-environment,that is,local coupling,while ignoring the impact of urbanization and eco-environment over distance,that is,telecoupling.Therefore,exploring the local and telecoupling coordination between urbanization and ecoenvironment is an urgent issue to realize the coordinated development of urbanization and eco-environment.Aiming at the problem,based on RS and GIS,an improved compounded night light index is proposed to objectively measure the level of urbanization.In addition,an improved remote sensing ecological index is constructed to comprehensively measure the eco-environmental quality.Then,a local and telecoupling coordination degree model of urbanization and eco-environment is proposed to realize the quantitative evaluation of local and telecoupling coordination between urbanization and eco-environment.Taking Wuhan urban agglomeration as the study area,this paper explores the coupling and coordination state of urbanization and eco-environment in Wuhan urban agglomeration from 2008 to 2018,and puts forward suggestions for the coordinated development of urbanization and eco-environment.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)An improved compounded night light index is constructed based on principal component analysis,and the urbanization level of the Wuhan urban agglomeration from2008 to 2018 is calculated.The principal component analysis method can objectively synthesize the two indicators of light area and light intensity,so the improved compounded night light index can measure the urbanization level more accurately.The results show that the urbanization level of Wuhan urban agglomeration has continued to improve from 2008 to 2018,and in terms of spatial structure,there is a clear circle pattern of "high in the center and low in the surrounding areas",with a high urbanization level in Wuhan located in the center and a low urbanization level in peripheral cities.(2)An improved remote sensing ecological index is constructed by integrating air pollution indicators,and the eco-environment quality of Wuhan urban agglomeration from 2008 to 2018 is measured.Based on the four dimensions of humidity,greenness,heat,and dryness of the original remote sensing ecological index,considering the impact of air quality,using principal component analysis to combine the five dimensions,then the improved remote sensing ecological index model is constructed.In turn,it can more comprehensively characterize the eco-environment quality.The results show that from 2008 to 2018,the eco-environment quality of Wuhan urban agglomeration has gradually improved.In terms of spatial distribution,there is a clear circle pattern of "low in the center and high in the surrounding areas" and the ecoenvironment quality of Wuhan located at the center is poor,and the eco-environment quality of the peripheral cities is good.(3)To address the issue that only local coupling is considered in the current coupling coordination relationship between urbanization and eco-environment,while the effect of telecoupling is neglected.The inverse distance weighting method is used to consider the influence of telecoupling,and the concept of telecoupling is introduced on the basis of the coupling coordination degree model to construct a local and telecoupling coordination degree model,so that the local and telecoupling coordination relationship between urbanization and eco-environment can be quantified.The results show that the local and telecoupling coordination degree model can reflect the interaction between regions and better represent the real state of coupling coordination between urbanization and eco-environment.From 2008 to 2018,the coordination state of urbanization and eco-environment in Wuhan urban agglomeration has experienced a process from uncoordinated development to coordinated development.In terms of spatial distribution,there is a clear circle pattern of "high in the center and low in the periphery".Among them,Wuhan in the center of Wuhan urban agglomeration shows an obvious priority of urbanization and lag of eco-environment.However,the peripheral cities show priority of eco-environment and lag of urbanization.(4)Suggestions have been put forward to promote regional sustainable development,considering the urbanization level,eco-environment quality,and coupling coordination state between urbanization and eco-environment in Wuhan urban agglomeration.Give full play to the leading role of Wuhan in the Wuhan urban agglomeration,and promote the overall urbanization development of the region.Carry out eco-environment compensation to improve the overall eco-environment quality of the region.Cities in the Wuhan urban agglomeration should cooperate to strengthen the integration,pay attention to the positive effect of telecoupling and avoid the negative effect.Then sustainable development between the urbanization and eco-environment could be promoted. |
