This paper empirically analyzes the spatial correlation of smog pollution in 30 provinces and cities in my country from 2014 to 2020 from the perspective of green innovation.First,the DEA-Malmquist index method was used to measure the green innovation efficiency,and the decomposition index was used to analyze its dynamic evolution trend.The spatial evolution characteristics of provincial haze pollution concentration were analyzed by using the spatial exploratory data analysis method;Secondly,based on the modified gravity model,the spatial correlation matrix of haze pollution in China’s provinces was determined,and the dynamic trend of the network structure was accurately described by using the social network analysis method.The status and role of each province in the network were evaluated by analyzing the characteristics of the whole network and individual network as well as the block model.Then,a panel data model is established to reveal the structural effect of haze pollution spatial association network from the perspective of green innovation.Finally,QAP analysis method was used to analyze the spatial effects of green innovation and other different indicators on the spatial correlation of haze pollution.The results show that:(1)In recent years,the green innovation efficiency in China presents a positive development state,showing a step-down trend from east to west.(2)Haze pollution in China has significant spatial positive correlation,and has significant spatial spillover effect and “path dependence ” behavior in different regions.(3)China’s inter-provincial haze pollution has a wide spatial correlation relationship,and the overall network characteristics show that China’s haze pollution spatial correlation network structure is becoming more and more robust.At the same time,provinces and cities have different roles and influences in the spatial correlation network,and the linkage effect and spatial spillover effect between haze pollution plates are obvious.(4)With the increase of green innovation efficiency,the intensity of haze pollution can be significantly reduced by increasing network density,reducing network grade,reducing network efficiency and enhancing network centrality.(5)Green innovation efficiency,industrial structure,economic development level and environmental regulation intensity with little difference are conducive to the formation of haze pollution spatial correlation network in China.Urbanization process and geographical proximity also play a key driving role in the formation of haze pollution spatial correlation network.Based on the empirical research results of Haze pollution in China under green innovation,the government needs to strengthen the role of green innovation in the economic development mode in the process of haze pollution control.At the same time,it is necessary to take into account the spatial correlation characteristics of haze pollution in China and make differentiated positioning of different haze pollution plates based on the role positions of provinces and cities in the network.
