In order to meet the development of social economy,people’s production and living water consumption is increasing day by day,water shortage,water pollution and other problems are constantly challenging the carrying capacity of water ecology.The interaction between water resources and social economy affects the sustainable development of water resources and the long-term stability of social economy.Based on the theory of synergetic studies,the classical composite system synergetic degree model is selected to study the synergetic development of water resources and social economy in 11 provinces(municipalities)of Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2011 to 2020.First,the evaluation index system of the synergy degree of the complex system of water resources and social economy was constructed,and the synergy degree model of the complex system was used to estimate the synergy development level of water resources and social economy in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.The evolution law of the synergy degree was analyzed from the perspectives of time series and space,and the main problems existing in the collaborative development were proposed.Then the panel data is tested and the appropriate regression analysis model is selected to study the main factors affecting the degree of collaboration.Finally,the heterogeneity of the influence factors on the degree of synergy in different river basins of the Yangtze River Economic Belt is discussed.The results showed that:(1)the synergy degree between water resources and social economy in the Yangtze River Economic Belt was not high on the whole,and most provinces(municipalities)were mildly coordinated,and the process of synergistic evolution between water resources and social economy was not stable;The order degree of social economy is higher than that of water resources.The lag of water resources development restricts their collaborative evolution.(2)There are differences in the level of collaborative development between regions.The downstream is higher than the midstream and higher than the upstream,and the distribution of synergy degree is "high in the north and low in the south,high in the east and low in the west".There are also differences within the region.The synergy degree of Zhejiang and Jiangsu in the downstream is high,and that of Shanghai is low,while the synergy degree of Sichuan in the upstream is high,and that of Guizhou and Yunnan is low.(3)Water resources endowment,water resources development and utilization,ecological environment,human capital,scientific and technological innovation,and industrial structure upgrading all have significant positive effects on the degree of synergy.The positive effect of water resource endowment,water resource exploitation and ecological environment on coordination degree is the most significant.(4)Human capital and industrial structure upgrading have the best effect on the synergy degree of the downstream region;human capital,scientific and technological innovation,industrial structure upgrading have the best effect on the synergy degree of the middle stream region;water resource endowment,water resource development and utilization have the best effect on the synergy degree of the upstream region.According to the research conclusions,based on the theory of sustainable development,sponge city construction is introduced into the process of the collaborative development of water resources and social economy,the path of collaborative evolution is explored under the "sponge mechanism",and the reference opinions are put forward for the coordinated development of water resources and social economy in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.Figure [5] Table [13] Parameter [101]...
