In recent years, digital economy has become a new growth point of countries’ economic development.Focusing on China,we can see that our Internet penetration rate is increasing continuously, economic strength is increasing significantly, and production efficiency is rising sharply. The report of the 19 th People’s congress of China specify the Objective of constructing "digital China" for the first time, marking that the progress of digital economy has pressed the "key of acceleration" from now on.The rapid progress of digital economy push the high fusion of traditional industries and digital technologies, and makes the flow of knowledge, technology and capital more unimpeded. It is already the critical engine for high-quality development. However,we must realize that economic benefits are accompanied by high energy consumption and pollution. The destruction of nature and the lack of attention to green development remind us that green development and green economy must be given top priority in a crucial position and signally increase GTFP everywhere. Therefore, taking digital economy as a breakthrough, how to facilitate GTFP with digital economy has become a major and urgent thing.Based on the above analysis, talking about how does the digital economy affect green total factor productivity is very meaningful. This paper takes 267 cities in China as samples and takes 2011 to 2019 as the sample period, focusing on the research theme of the impact of urban digital economy on GTFP,expounds the theoretical research on digital economy and GTFP,and summarizes and collates related literature.Through entropy method and SBM model, digital economy development level and GTFP of each city in the sample period were respectively measured, and divided into three regions according to geographical location. In respect of basic regression, traditional heterogeneity effect and finite mix model, dynamic panel regression and spatial econometric regression are used to analyze the direct influence, spatial spillover effect and heterogeneity effect of digital economy on GTFP by regression. In the end,get the main conclusion from the regression results and offer policy recommendations based on the them.It can be known from the result: 1.GTFP can be dramatically boosted by the urban digital economy, and there is an obvious imbalance in the level of digital economy. In respect of space,Compared with other regions, the digital economy in the eastern region is at a higher level. And In respect of time, national and regional levels of the digital economy are rising each year.2.The promoting effect of digital economy on GTFP has obvious heterogeneity.Regionally, digital economy In the eastern region has a larger role to promote GTFP.However,it has no obvious effect on the western region. The positive effect of digital economy on GTFP in central cities will be heighten when considering the spatial spillover effect. In terms of urban administration level, digital economy has a significant positive effect on GTFP in central cities, but not in peripheral cities, regardless of whether the spatial spillover effect is considered. In cities with stronger environmental regulations, digital economy has more obvious promoting effect on GTFP.Under different city sizes, digital economy can substantially facilitate the rise of GTFP,but for small-scale and medium-sized cities, the driving influence is not apparent. After considering the spatial spillover effect, for big cities, the influence of digital economy is not apparent.3.According to the analysis of the spatial spillover effect results,it is displays that digital economy not only rises local GTFP,but also elevates the evolution of surrounding areas, and this "digital dividend" is differentiated.Compared to the other two regions,The positive effect of digital economy is more significant in the eastern region.4.The impact of digital economy on GTFP can be objectively divided into three models.According to the size of urban GTFP under this model,it can be divided into "high level","medium level" and "low level".The improvement of technological innovation level and urbanization rate is a significant power to facilitate the transformation of "low level" green total factor productivity cities to "medium level" and "high level".
