| China’s economy has entered a stage of high-quality development, and optimizing the economic structure and transforming the development model are the top priorities of high-quality development. As an important national energy strategic guarantee base,resource-based cities not only support regional social and economic development, but also cause problems such as economic structure imbalance and negative environmental effects. How to effectively promote the synergy between social and economic development and ecological protection, and explore and optimize the transformation path is an important issue that resource-based cities need to solve urgently.Taking resource-based city as a complex social-ecological coupling system, this study takes Jining City as an example, and selects the influencing factors of resilience changes under the background of urban transformation on the basis of identifying and analyzing the characteristics of regional social, economic and ecological disturbances of resource development, and constructs a resilience evaluation index system. The resilience level of socio-ecological system in Jining from 1990 to 2020 was quantitatively evaluated by entropy weight method and set pair analysis model, and its spatiotemporal pattern and evolution characteristics were analyzed. The coupling coordinated transformation degree model is used to explain the intrinsic relationship between the coordinated transformation of social, economic and ecological subsystems, and the key influencing factors of social, economic and ecological subsystems are explored by using geographic detectors. Finally, the influence mechanism of socio-ecological system resilience under the background of resource-based urban transformation is clarified, and the path of resilience improvement and urban transformation strategy are proposed. The conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)From 1990 to 2020,the resilience of the Jining socio-ecological system continued to increase, and differences in resilience levels were significant among subsystems. The resilience index of the social subsystem slightly decreased before continuously increasing, with the resilience level rising from a lower level to a higher level. The resilience index of the economic and ecological subsystems exhibited an "up-down-up" trend, with the resilience level of the economic subsystem transitioning from a medium level to a high level and the resilience level of the ecological subsystem transitioning from a lower level to a medium level.(2)The spatial-temporal pattern of socio-ecological system and subsystem resilience in different counties(districts)in Jining City is significantly different, and the subsystems of each county(district)will develop in the direction of co-frequency resonance in 2020.The average resilience of social-ecological system and social subsystem in Jining City continued to rise, showing a spatial pattern of high north and low in the south, high in the west and low in the east, respectively. The average resilience of economic subsystem and ecological subsystem fluctuated by "rise-fallrise",and the spatial pattern of high south and low north, east high and low west respectively showed a spatial pattern.(3)The socio-ecological system in Jining was on the brink of imbalance between1990 and 2000,but the trend improved after 2005,gradually climbing from basic coordination to good coordination. From 1990 to 2010,the social subsystem played a relatively stronger role in coordinated development, while from 2015 to 2020,the roles of the social, economic, and ecological subsystems in coordinated development tended to be balanced. The coupling coordination transformation degree of each county/district can be classified into two types: unilateral dominance development driven by either economic or social factors and bilateral-multilateral synergistic development.(4)The resilience of social, economic and ecological subsystems in Jining City was affected by the synergy of various factors, and there were significant differences in the dominant influencing indicators and the degree of interpretation in different periods and dimensions, and the explanatory degree of system recovery after the interaction between the factors was enhanced compared with the driving intensity of a single index. The driving forces of social subsystem resilience include highway density, the number of general high school students, the number of employees in the secondary industry, the total retail sales of social consumer goods, and local fiscal expenditure. The driving forces of the resilience of the economic subsystem include the proportion of output value of the primary industry, the proportion of output value of the secondary industry, the proportion of the output value of the tertiary industry, the proportion of the output value of high-tech industries, and the total investment in fixed assets. The driving forces of ecological subsystem resilience include per capita arable land area, per capita forest area, landscape ecological risk index, habitat quality index, energy conservation and environmental protection expenditure.(5)Based on the characteristics and mechanisms influencing the resilience of the socio-ecological system,Jining should accelerate industrial transformation and construct a modern industrial system during the transformation and development process. It should insist on ecological protection and coordinated system recovery, adopt targeted measures to enhance the resilience of each county/district,promote coordinated development between social and economic development and ecological protection with a systems-oriented approach, and take multiple measures to ensure the efficient and comprehensive development of society. |
