The humid and hot climate is widely distributed in the south of China,which is characterized by high temperature,high humidity and heavy rainfall.The local traditional dwellings have interacted with the local climate continuously in the longterm development process,and accumulated effective measures to deal with the local climate.These measures have reference significance for the development of modern dwellings which over-rely on active indoor thermal environment control means and consume a lot of energy towards green and energy-saving.Firstly,the climatic conditions in hot and humid areas are analyzed by using climate analysis tools,and it is concluded that shading,heat insulation,natural ventilation and building moisture-proof are the climate adaptation strategies suitable for local dwellings.Through literature research,the types and distribution of dwellings in hot and humid areas are mastered.Local dwellings can be divided into two categories:Ganlan dwellings and Tingjing dwellings.Dai dwellings and Wa dwellings are selected from Ganlan dwellings,and Huizhou dwellings and Yazhou dwellings are selected from Tingjing dwellings as research objects.Secondly,based on the theory of building climate adaptation,through testing and simulation of indoor and outdoor parameters such as indoor and outdoor temperature,wind speed,relative humidity,temperature of the inside and outside surface of building envelope,and analysis of building space form,the satisfaction of selected research objects to local climate adaptation needs is analyzed,and the effective practices and shortcomings of local dwellings in climate adaptation are summarized.On this basis,the climate adaptation characteristics of hall-well dwellings and dry-column dwellings in space form and envelope structure are extracted.In addition,there are differences between the climatic adaptation characteristics of Tingjing dwellings and Ganlan dwellings in hot and humid areas.This paper explains the reasons behind the differences.Finally,combined with the case analysis and quantitative data statistics of dwellings in hot and humid areas and software simulation,the influence of different quantitative values of roof slope,second floor height,relative size of patio,overhead height,indoor partition wall height and wall inclination angle on the climate adaptability of Tingjing dwellings and Ganlan dwellings is analyzed,and the influence of different structural forms of enclosure structure characteristics of Tingjing dwellings and Ganlan dwellings on their heat insulation and moisture-proof performance is also analyzed.To sum up,this paper studies the climate adaptation status of Tingjing dwellings and Ganlan dwellings in hot and humid areas,extracts the climate adaptation characteristics of two types of dwellings in hot and humid areas,explains the reasons for the differences between the climate adaptation characteristics of the two dwellings in hot and humid areas,and analyzes the regular relationship between the climate adaptation characteristics of traditional dwellings and their climate adaptation in hot and humid areas,which has certain reference significance for the development of local dwellings towards green and energy-saving.
