In recent years,China's population aging situation is very serious.With the growth of old age,the deterioration of various bodily functions,it is facing a series of health problems.Among them,Alzheimer's disease has become an important killer of health problems in the elderly.Mild cognitive impairment is an early stage of Alzheimer's disease.Timely intervention at this stage can effectively delay the deterioration of cognitive function in the elderly.Nostalgia therapy,as one of the intervention means to care for the elderly with mild cognitive impairment,plays an important role in improving the cognitive function and improving the quality of life of the elderly.This study took an elderly patient with mild cognitive impairment as the service object.The MMSE scale and Mo Ca scale were used to measure the cognitive function of orienting,memory,attention ability,recall ability and language ability,which were found to be decreased.Under the guidance of life review theory,Using the resources related to the personal experience of the clients,nostalgia therapy was used to intervene the cognitive function of the clients.On the basis of summarizing the service process and effect,the following conclusions are drawn :(1)case work has a positive effect on the elderly with mild cognitive impairment;(2)nostalgia therapy can improve the cognitive function of the elderly with mild cognitive impairment to a certain extent;(3)early intervention is necessary for the elderly with mild cognitive impairment.At the same time,this study summarized the deficiencies in the process of service intervention,in order to provide reference for the future study of case work intervention in the elderly with mild cognitive impairment.
