When the government encourages the city to develop fair and quality education in boarding schools,boarders have become a large group.boarding junior high school students who are in a specific stage of youth living social environment is relatively closed and can not often get the care of the family.As a part of mental health,the emotional management of boarding junior high school students needs to get our attention.the author issued 174 questionnaires for junior high school students.The results of the questionnaire show that junior boarding students than non-boarding students have specific cognitive emotional expression and low emotional control ability.For the more boarding middle school students,the cost of case intervention is more influence than small group work is more suitable for the actual situation.In this paper,nine group activities were designed and implemented by 10 boarding junior high school students under the guidance of emotion.The first stage of group activities is mainly to establish relationship and find problems is divided into two parts: relationship and problem finding.The second stage is the intervention of emotion management.stage 3 is the establishment of social support network atmosphere to obtain the support of the family system and obtain the support of the school system and peer groups.Stage is a total of 9 group activities in stage 4 of review and closing.Through the post-test results of the team members,the total emotional management score of the team members was improved.It can be seen that the group work has a positive effect on the emotional management of boarding junior high school students,but the research is also insufficient.The research puts forward its own reflection on the group work and the development of school social work,and puts forward four suggestions on the emotional management of junior middle school students and school family.
