The curriculum standards of science and physics in junior high school was promulgated by the Ministry of National Education in 2011,which is a programmatic document guiding the teaching in junior high school.After-class exercises are an important part of junior high school science and physics textbooks, and the setting of after-class exercises should be consistent with the requirements of curriculum standards.Through the exercises after class, teachers can grasp the difficult knowledge and students can get timely feedback. Therefore, how to set up the after-class exercises of science and physics in junior high school is a key point that we need to pay attention to.Studying the alignment between after-class exercises and curriculum standards can not only provide a reference for the setting of after-class exercises but also enlighten the revision of curriculum standards. This study is based on quantitative research, using the mainstream alignment analysis model in related research fields and traditional statistical analysis software to carry out research. The objects of study are the junior high school science curriculum standards, the junior high school physics curriculum standards, the after-class exercises Physics in Full set of Zhejiang Education Edition Junior High School“Science” textbooks and all the textbooks in junior high school physics textbook. The curriculum standards and the after-class exercises are respectively coded, and then calculate the alignment coefficient between after-class exercises and curriculum standards in two edition textbooks. And this paper compares the alignment of the two dimensions of the content and cognitive level of the two editions of the textbook is compared by thermal diagram and histogram respectively. The results of the alignment study between after-class exercises and curriculum standards are as follows:From the overall point of view, the two editions of textbooks after-class exercises and curriculum standards maintain significant alignment. However, the study found that the level of alignment is not ideal in terms of cognitive level or content alone. In cognition, the cognitive level of after-class exercises in the two editions of textbooks is higher than that of their curriculum standards. In terms of content, the knowledge points of after-class exercises in the two editions of textbooks are too concentrated on individual parts, and the proportion of the examination of the topics in “Mechanical Motion and Force” and “Electricity and Magnetism”(electromagnetic energy in the physics curriculum standard)is higher than that in the curriculum standards, while the proportion of knowledge points in some topics does not meet the requirements of the curriculum standards. The following suggestions are made for the alignment of after-class exercises and curriculum standards:First of all,after-class exercises should cover all the curriculum contents in the curriculum standards, and the examination of the cognitive level of knowledge points in after-class exercises should also be consistent with the curriculum standards.Secondly,after-class exercises should have practical significance, try to integrate the elements of science, technology, society and environment. Finally, the curriculum standards should further define the behavior verb and improve the cognitive level of some knowledge points.
