Autism spectrum disorder(ASD)is a neurologically based pervasive developmental disorder that occurs in early childhood, which has serious obstacles in many aspects.Joint attention(JA)is the core defect of ASD children, which is basic, typical and universal in the group of ASD children.More studies have shown that the JA deficit of ASD children limits their abilities in many aspects such as imitation, verbal communication, and social interaction.People's attention to the common attention of such children has increased, the intervention research on the JA of ASD children has become the focus of many scholars. At present, the intervention research on the JA of ASD children mainly includes three directions: behavior orientation, development orientation and combination orientation. In this study, the teaching method of organic integration of discrete trial teaching(DTT)and pivotal response treatment(PRT)was used to intervene the JA of ASD children, and to explore the effect of this method in improving the JA of ASD children. In this study,a ASD child in a rehabilitation center was selected as the experimental object. The study divided the JA into two dimensions: responding to joint attention(RJA)and initiating joint attention(IJA),and measured the child's JA before and after the intervention using “the joint attention behavior test list” created by researcher. The study adopted the withdrawal design(A-B-A')in the single-subject experiment design. The whole study design was divided into three stages: baseline stage, teaching intervention stage and follow-up stage. The study data were analyzed by visual analysis and C statistical methods. The conclusions of this study are as follows: first, the combination of DTT and PRT can effectively intervene the JA of ASD children to some extent.Second, compared with IJA,DTT combined with PRT has better effect on RJA in ASD children.Third qualitative analysis found that the combination of DTT and PRT increases the ability of ASD children to use JA and follow instructions.Fourth, the behavior of joint attention decreases with the decrease of assistance intensity. In addition, this study discussed the effectiveness of interventions, and put forward the following suggestions for teaching application: use the combination of DTT and PRT to intervene under the guidance of scientific methods;pay attention to the need for personalized life-oriented training tools Interest. At the same time, parents can intervene with JA in a targeted manner according to the individual situation of ASD children after learning.
