The one who knows the beginning of the action,the one who knows the accomplishment.As an important concept of self-cultivation in traditional Chinese culture,"the unity of knowledge and action" contains extremely rich educational thoughts.Analyzing its influence on later generations,and digging out its significance and enlightenment for young students,especially college students' ideological education under the realistic background,is of great value to improving the current status of practical education.On the basis of inheriting the research results of predecessors,from the perspective of "the unity of knowledge and practice",this article takes Mao Zedong's thesis of "the combination of theory and practice" and Xi Jinping's new exposition on ideological and political education as guidance,and presents the status quo of practical education in colleges and universities.Conducted a more in-depth study.First of all,with the help of simple general classification and systematic induction,the important discourses on "the unity of knowledge and action" and the thought of educating people from ancient times to the present have been sorted out,trying to find out the principles,paths,and measures for the practice of educating people in colleges and universities.Aspect of the logical relationship.Subsequently,through questionnaire surveys,the education objects and in-depth interviews conducted a relatively comprehensive understanding of college teachers on practical education related issues,using the main contradiction theory,analogy analysis,contradiction analysis and other methods to systematically analyze the current situation of college practical education.,Pointed out the problems of separation of knowledge and behavior,obvious formalization,and inconspicuous characteristics in practical education in colleges and universities,and conducted attribution analysis from the aspects of concept,carrier,and mechanism.On this basis,through in-depth study and understanding of the relevant spirit of the central government's teaching reforms and teacher team building reforms,combined with the understanding and thinking of practical problems,it is proposed that the practical education of colleges and universities requires in-depth reforms.We must be guided by Xi Jinping's educational thoughts,truly adhere to the virtues and cultivate people,and we must work hard on "knowledge" and perfect the "five education simultaneously" and the "three comprehensive education".It is necessary to achieve results in "action",pay attention to students' realistic behavior orientation,vigorously strengthen labor education and practical exercise,comprehensively optimize the content and form of practical education,and explore in depth the multiple paths and various measures of practical education.At the same time,strengthen the construction of practical education teachers and practice bases;improve the design of students' theoretical study,practical exercise,and campus life system;increase funding,promote reforms and innovations such as "Internet + practical education",and strive to build practical education Joint force mechanism.
