At present,China's aging population is growing rapidly, and the aging phenomenon is becoming more and more serious. At the same time, with the rapid development of Internet, artificial intelligence and other information technology, intelligent services have been widely used, and people's production and life have undergone tremendous changes. In this context, most elderly people do not use smart phones, computers and other smart devices. There are also many problems when using mobile payment, transportation and medical services, which affect the normal life of the elderly and cannot enjoy the convenience of the intelligent society. Therefore,it is particularly important to improve the information literacy of the elderly, which can not only reflect the humanistic care of a harmonious society, but also promote social and economic development. In order to study the current situation of the information literacy of the elderly, this study selects the urban elderly over 60 years old as the research object, and uses the methods of questionnaire and interview to investigate and analyze the current situation of the information literacy of the urban elderly over 60 years old in Henan Province, focusing on their development status and existing problems in the three aspects of information knowledge, information awareness and information ability. The results show that the current status of information literacy of the elderly is lack of information knowledge, weak information awareness, and information ability needs to be improved.Through the analysis of the existing problems in the information literacy of the elderly,it is found that the reasons for this phenomenon mainly include self, society and family.First, the proportion of the elderly who are educated is low and their selflearning awareness is not strong.Second, the lack of top-level design and Information infrastructure is not perfect.Third, family members are not helpful enough and lack of communication. This paper puts forward the following suggestions.First,in their own aspects:establish the concept of lifelong learning, enhance the ability of adaptive learning.Second,at the social level: unified planning and deployment, improve the training system;innovative service mode, strengthen horizontal cooperation;improve infrastructure construction to meet the information needs.Third,at the family level:innovate intergenerational activities to mobilize the enthusiasm of the elderly;strengthen the training effect to improve the awareness of feedback of young people.
