Research On Immersive Interactive Interface Based On Data Visualization

Data visualization uses graphical means to clearly and effectively communicate information to people and enhance people's ability to understand and manipulate data.Therefore,data plays an important role in key fields such as biological sciences,urban planning,geospatial,and sports and humanities.In recent years,with the iterative upgrade of virtual reality(Virtual Reality,VR)hardware devices and the development of virtual reality technology applications,academia has gradually begun to explore the application of virtual reality technology to the expression of data visualization,and research on immersive visualization has also came into being.Since traditional data visualization is often used to display and express data through a two-dimensional interface,virtual reality technology is based on immersive three-dimensional space for human-computer interaction.Therefore,how to combine the interactive form of the two-dimensional interface with the interactive interface in the three-dimensional environment to realize the design and implementation of the data visualization interface in the VR immersive environment is the research focus of this thesis.Firstly,the research status of traditional data visualization interactive interface,interactive interface in VR immersive environment and data visualization interactive interface in VR immersive environment is summarized and analyzed.Secondly,the characteristics and applications of the immersive interactive interface and the traditional data visualization interactive interface are discussed,and then the virtual reality technology and the data visualization technology are combined to bring out the characteristics and application examples of the data visualization interactive interface in the VR immersive environment.Thirdly,the design methods of immersive interactive interface and traditional data visualization interactive interface are expounded,and then the view types,interactive tasks and design principles of data visualization interactive interface in immersive environment are explained.Finally,based on the above theoretical research,this thesis applies the design theory of immersive data visualization interface to practice.By cooperating with other subjects,he completed an immersive data visualization work based on cetacean biological data--"Whale Intention",which is mainly used to display the knowledge of marine life in the form of data visualization,in order to call people's attention to the ocean environmental protection issues.In the practical creation process of "Whale Intention",for various biological data of cetaceans,the data visualization interactive interface function in the immersive environment was designed and realized,and the relevant theory of immersive visualization interface design was verified,with a view to immersive visual interface design.Visualization research provides reference.
