Research On The Design Of Floating Action Buttons In Mobile Applications

In today's increasingly homogeneous mobile application user interface,any elements in the interface is related to the user's operating experience.As a unique mobile application user interface component,the floating action button is favored by designers due to its novel appearance and convenient operation.And continue to be used in mobile application user interface design.The design of mobile application user interface is a hot topic in academic research at present,but the research on floating buttons of important interface elements is rarely discussed.This research adopts two research methods,literature research method and case analysis method,to study the design principles and design methods of floating action buttons.Firstly,it expounds the origin and basic concept of the floating action button,analyzes the reasons for the appearance of the floating action button in the mobile application user interface design,and then studies the development status of the floating action button from three aspects: the development status,characteristics and functions of the floating action button;Secondly,according to the general design principles of buttons and the characteristics of floating action buttons,it is concluded that the design of floating action buttons should not only follow the design principles of identifiable,consistency and aesthetics of ordinary buttons,but also follow their own uniqueness and criticality.Combined with the design principles of the floating action button,deeply analyze the practical significance of the floating action button principle to the mobile application user interface design;Thirdly,the article studies the position of the floating action button from the user's visual flow and spatial memory,and studies the size of the floating action button in combination with the "Material Design" officially proposed by Google,from the two current mainstream visual styles of quasi-materialization and flattening.Research the design style of the floating action button,and research the constituent elements of the floating action button from the aspects of container and content;Finally,feasible suggestions are put forward for the problems that the floating action buttons in the mobile application user interface hinder reading,interrupt the immersive experience.As a distinctive component in the mobile application user interface,the floating action button can bring users a bright experience in both visual and operational aspects.In-depth research on the floating action button can be used in today's increasingly homogeneous mobile application user interface.The development of user interface design provides new ideas.
