Abstract/Summary:
The purpose of this paper is to discuss the changes of the mobile phone interface design from Skeuomorphism design to Flat design. With the rapid development of science and technology, cultural communication, the rich and colorful design elements develop in the design industry, which have formed their unique style. The rise of the mobile Internet era, as an important part of the mobile devices, the development of the interface design style is also influential. At the same time, it also produces a hot debate in the field of mobile application design-Skeuomorphism design or Flat design. As apple IOS 7 and Microsoft Windows 8 system have been announced in 2003, this subject is focused by the people. Therefore, some designers think that flat design will become the guidance in design. Simplicity is the best way to combine the integration design with the life. This article mainly analyzes the change and development from skeuomorphism to flat design. By means of literature review, information analysis, comparative analysis, data analysis and the research methods of inductive analysis, parsing the mobile phone interface design developing process from skeuomorphism design to flat design, and discuss the current flat design has become a trend, and its renewal and problems in the process of development. According to the application in ICON (ICON), color and layout design, this paper discusses the development will be inevitable. Besides, I put forward my own views on development from skeuomorphism design to flat design. From the perspective of the user experience demand, this paper is designed study the skeuomorphism, flat design, and unflat design and how to develop in a sustainable way.
