Since the advent of phased array radar,with its flexible and accurate scanning mode,it has played an excellent role in military and civil fields.At the same time,with the continuous development of integrated circuit,phased array radar is also further updated.In phased array radar,beam scanning is the most critical core,and the beam control system mainly controls each element of active phased array antenna according to beam direction Angle,which is the key part of realizing beam scanning and beam forming of phased array radar.Therefore,using miniaturized,integrated and flexible integrated circuit technology to improve the performance of phased array beam control system is of great significance to the development of phased array radar.In this thesis,the background and significance of phased array radar are discussed,and the research trends of phased array beam control system at home and abroad are described.Then the principle of beam shift of phased array antenna is analyzed,the structure of beam control system is described,and the calculation formula of beam control code is obtained.Based on this,the performance parameters of planar phased array antenna are introduced,and the overall design scheme of wave control system is presented.Subsequently,the design scheme of the system is introduced in detail,including the concrete design of the hardware circuit of the wave control board,the writing of the software of the wave control unit,and finally the whole system is simulated and verified at the board level.The thesis focuses on the realization principle,functional requirements and implementation scheme of the wave control system.In the part of hardware design,the FPGA chip with low power consumption,high security and flexible design is used as the core chip of the operation and control of the wave control system,and the PCB design of the hardware circuit is completed.In software writing,Verilog HDL hardware description language is used to complete the realization of the serial port transceiver module,communication protocol,wave control code operation module based on CORDIC algorithm,upper computer monitoring module and other functions of the wave control system.Based on Modelsim software,the data waveform transmitted by each module is simulated and analyzed.Finally,the hardware board level verification test is carried out on FPGA control board,and the error analysis of the hardware verification result is compared with the calculation result of Matlab software,and the improvement direction is described.The design of beam control system based on FPGA further promotes the development of phased array wave control system to miniaturization and integration.
