As a representative of the young generation,the media image of the "post-00s" is an important window for the public to know and understand the young generation in China.The mainstream media's image of a positive "post-00s" is of great significance in guiding the "post-00s" to establish a correct perception of themselves,shaping a good growth environment for the "post-00s" and raising public confidence in the future generation.It is of great practical significance to guide the "post-00s" to establish their correct perceptions,shape a good environment for the "post-00s" to grow up in,and enhance public confidence in the future generation.The new mainstream media platforms,represented by the We Chat public website of People's Daily,continue to strengthen their own integration and development skills,firmly grasp the guidance of public opinion,and shape and present the media image of the "post-00s" for the public in line with mainstream values,becoming a model for other media to report and present the "post-00s".It has become a sample for other media to report and present the "post-00s" group.In order to understand the media image of the "post-00s" presented by the We Chat public website of People's Daily,this paper selects 65 "post-00s"-related articles from the We Chat public website of People's Daily from its launch on January 1,2013 to December31,2020.Through statistical analysis,text reading and case study,this paper examines the "post-00s" media image of the We Chat public website of People's Daily from the perspectives of the categories,contents,development stages and characteristics of the "post-00s" media image of the We Chat public website of People's Daily,taking the mimetic environment,agenda setting and media image as the theoretical basis.This study analyzes the problems of the post-00 s media image and proposes reasonable improvement measures.Through the study,it is found that the categories of the media image of the "post-00s" on the We Chat public website of People's Daily can be interpreted from three perspectives:comparing with other groups of the times,the role of learning and education,and the role of responsibility.The media images of the "post-00s" thus presented include: "pursuers of independence and individuality","shining ones who realise their own values through education","active bearers of military responsibilities",and "active bearers of military responsibilities".They are "active bearers of military responsibility",etc.Influenced by the positioning of mainstream media,the characteristics of the "post-00s" themselves,the social environment and the expectations of the audience,the media image of the "post-00s" presented by the We Chat public website of People's Daily has always been mainly positive.In addition,the media image of the "post-00s" on the We Chat public website of People's Daily has gone through three stages: generalisation,diversification and mainstreaming,from emergence to development and then to basic stability.During this process,the number of relevant tweets has been on the rise,and the proportion of positive reports has been increasing,while the proportion of negative reports has been decreasing,further strengthening the public's positive perception of the "post-00s".Responsibility and commitment have always been the core and soul of People's Daily We Chat's "post-00s" media image,as well as the key to its popularity.This has positive implications for other media in building the media image of the "post-00s".Through the analysis of the tweets related to the "post-00s" on the We Chat public website of People's Daily,the author concludes that the tweets of the "post-00s" on the We Chat public website of People's Daily have problems such as fixed identity of the tweets' target audience,unbalanced selection of tweets' topics and strong logic in the tweets.The media image of the "post-00s" thus created is to a certain extent stereotyped,one-sided and distorted.Therefore,the author suggests that the identity of the target audience should be expanded,and that the preconceived logic of the tweets should be weakened,so as to make the media image of the "post-00s" more realistic,objective,comprehensive and relevant.Translated with www.Deep L.com/Translator(free version)...
