The emergence and development of virtual reality technology has broadened the research horizons in the field of human-computer interaction, and has extended the research on evaluation methods of human-computer interaction from the traditional 2D interface to the 3D space.Currently, the interface evaluation methods related to the 3D virtual reality environment are mainly based on subjective investigation, objective analysis and observation. The lack of a unified quantitative evaluation standard makes it impossible for people to quantitatively evaluate the human-computer interaction process in virtual reality. Therefore, studying the quantitative evaluation method of interface ergonomics in virtual reality environment has a wide range of value and significance.Firstly, with virtual reality technology as the support and head-mounted display device as the medium, the feasibility of establishing a quantitative evaluation method of virtual reality interface ergonomics is explored in this paper from three aspects: virtual reality interactive system, virtual reality interactive mode and virtual reality applicable evaluation method.Secondly,on the basis of theoretical research, the GOMS model is extended to the 3D display space with natural interaction as the main feature, and an interface ergonomics evaluation method based on the extended GOMS model, which is suitable for finger-touch interaction in virtual reality,is constructed. The evaluation method includes five stages: analyzing the user interaction system and user interaction tasks, decomposing the interactive behavior of the user interaction process into a series of basic behavioral operators, configuring the basic interaction rules of the user interaction process, obtaining the normalized time and time function of the basic behavior operators in the user interaction process through experiments, establishing user behavior list based on analysis, decomposition, configuration and acquisition to evaluate and predict user behavior performance.Thirdly,an interface ergonomics evaluation tool is developed based on the extended GOMS model in this paper. Finally,an actual 3D interaction case and the developed evaluation tool are used to verify the validity and accuracy of the proposed evaluation method. The results show that the actual interaction time of the skilled user in the 3D interaction case is highly consistent with the predicted interaction time obtained by the developed evaluation tool, and the availability of the evaluation method is proven.Due to the proposed evaluation method,a feasible and general interface ergonomics evaluation method is available in the field of human-computer interaction evaluation based on finger touch interaction, and a technical guidance is provided to evaluators to quantify the task based on finger-touch interaction. The development of the evaluation tool based on the extended GOMS model also fills the technical gap in the research of the ergonomic evaluation method based on the finger-touch interaction interface in the virtual reality environment.
