With the advancement of information technology and the innovation of network technology,the number of electronic records has grown faster and faster,and electronic records have gradually become the main object of file management.However,electronic records and electronic records management systems are extremely vulnerable to attacks in a complex network environment,ranging from file systems that cannot be used,to file information being lost or stolen,causing losses to users.The "Archives Law of the People's Republic of China" clearly stipulates that all state agencies,armed forces,political parties,organizations,enterprises,institutions,and citizens have the obligation to protect archives.Therefore,it is everyone's duty to protect archives from infringement.After Satoshi Nakamoto proposed the concept of blockchain in 2008,the application of this technology in various fields has been extensively studied.Using the technical characteristics of blockchain such as decentralization,openness and transparency,combined with the electronic records management system,is of great significance for ensuring the authenticity,integrity,security,and availability of archive information.This article is problem-oriented,starting with the main issues facing the authenticity,integrity,security,and availability of electronic records,and a more in-depth study of how to use blockchain technology to protect the "four characteristics" of electronic records.The first part of the article first summarizes the main problems faced by the current "four characteristics" of electronic records,and analyzes the main causes of the problems from both internal and external factors;the second part introduces the blockchain technology.After a brief introduction to the principles and main technical means of the blockchain,the applicability of the technology in the authenticity,integrity,security,and availability of electronic records is explained separately.Finally,the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges of blockchain technology in the protection and application of the "four characteristics" of electronic records is analyzed;the third part selects the British ARCHANGEL project as a typical project,introduces its project background,construction ideas and implementation plans,and adopts a trust model with existing electronic records the comparison of blockchain technology in electronic records analyzes the technical advantages of blockchain technology in electronic records;the fourth part designs a "four-character" security model for electronic records based on blockchain technology,including selecting the appropriate blockchain,correctly positioning the participants of the blockchain,strengthening the support for the protection of the "four characteristics" of electronic records,and realizing the full management of electronic records,in the hope that this model can be used in a certain to protect the "four characteristics" of electronic records to a certain extent;the last part reviews the full text,summarizes,and makes a prospect for the application of blockchain technology in the archival science field.The research applied in archives management provides reference and reference.
