The Status And Policy Recommendations Of Artificial Intelligence Patent Cooperation In The Yangtze River Delta

In the wave of China's artificial intelligence development,the Yangtze River Delta is a key area for development.Research the overall layout of artificial intelligence patents in the Yangtze River Delta,especially the cooperative relationship between the various elements and the characteristics of the research theme,so that the Yangtze River Delta strengthens collaboration and complements each other's advantages,providing reference for the development of artificial intelligence throughout the country.From the three dimensions of industry,inventor,and patent theme,this article uses the Yangtze River Delta artificial intelligence patents in the incopat database from 2015 to 2019 as the research topic,using the social network analysis method,through the construction of a cooperation network of applicants and a cooperation network of inventors,the characteristics and trends of cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence in the Yangtze River Delta are shown.The CorEx topic model is used to generate artificial intelligence research themes in the Yangtze River Delta,so as to analyze the research focus of different regions and different applicant,as well as the research changes over time.Finally,the subject information is integrated into the application and inventor network,and the two-mode network will be converted into a one-mode network through the corresponding cross product method,and then an attempt is made to explore potential cooperation pairs.The conclusion of this article is as follows:(1)The overall number of artificial intelligence patents in the Yangtze River Delta is on the rise,of which Jiangsu province has the most and Anhui province has the least,and there is a large gap with the top three.Besides,the distribution of the number of patents is characterized by regional imbalance,mainly in Pudong New Area,Nanjing,Hangzhou and Hefei;from the quality point of view,Shanghai's multi-dimensional evaluation ranks first;From the perspective of patent types,their main structure is similar.(2)From the perspective of industry,the entire Yangtze River Delta region is dominated by colleges and universities.From the perspective of the cooperation ratio of various types of applicants,the degree of dependence on enterprises by colleges and universities is higher than the degree of dependence on colleges and universities by enterprises;Although the proportion of cooperation is increasing,it is still not high,and the core is dense and the external is loose.(3)From the perspective of inventors,according to the two indicators of network concentration and rate of change,most applicants have a stable core team,but the proportion of those who can stably produce patents for many years is low.(4)From the perspective of patent topics,the number distribution of 15 topics in the entire Yangtze River Delta region is relatively similar,but there is a lack of research on the basic layers of the artificial intelligence industry chain;the research topics of enterprises and universities are quite different.In the cooperation between the two,it is inclined to research topics of universities and colleges,and it may make patents lack market orientation;most of the patent topics have a certain degree of in-depth development over time;according to the potential cooperation relationship of the first mode network after the conversion of the second mode network,whether it is for the applicant or the inventor group,it is a powerful supplement to the current cooperation network.
