Research On Information Accessibility Services For Visually Impaired Users In Public Libraries Under The Background Of Artificial Intelligence

The visually impaired are a relatively large population in China,and they are the most in need of assistance among the dyslexic population,which needs special attention.As an important place for visually impaired users to study and communicate,public libraries must provide relevant information access services for visually impaired users,and provide them with a convenient and high-quality information barrier-free channel to meet their reading needs.But in practice,public library information accessibility services are still not popularized,and the use of information in public libraries by visually impaired users is still inconvenient and insufficient.With the gradual maturity of a new generation of information technologies such as artificial intelligence,it is providing strong technical support for solving the problem of information acquisition obstacles for visually impaired users.This paper expounds the relevant concepts and theoretical basis of library information barrier-free service under the background of artificial intelligence.The relevant concepts mainly include visually impaired users,information barrier-free and artificial intelligence.The theoretical basis mainly includes information demand theory,barrier-free design theory,universal design theory and inclusive design theory.Then,the grounded theory is used to obtain the information accessibility needs of visually impaired users in public libraries under the background of artificial intelligence,service support,collection resources support,technical support,psychological counseling,convenient travel initiative,requirements and facilities to support,on the basis of constructed by internal and external aspects of the visually impaired users information accessibility model.Then,we continue to use grounded theory to obtain the influencing factors of visually impaired users' information accessibility services in public libraries,which are management level,collection resources,facility support,service support,travel environment and demand initiative.Based on this,a model of influencing factors of visually impaired users' information accessibility in public libraries is constructed,which is composed of internal driving factors and external driving factors.According to the research on the information barrier-free demand of visually impaired users and the influencing factors of information barrier-free service for visually impaired users in public libraries,the information accessibility service system for visually impaired users in public libraries under the background of artificial intelligence is constructed in combination with the current library information service environment.The paper also puts forward the countermeasures to ensure the information barrier-free service system for visually impaired users in public libraries under the background of artificial intelligence.This paper uses the grounded theory to build information accessibility services for visually impaired users in public libraries under the background of artificial intelligence.The system will improve the level of equalization of basic public services in public libraries,and will also provide demonstrations and references for the development of information accessibility in other fields.
