China is a big agricultural country in the world.Agriculture plays a very important strategic role in the national economy.With the development of knowledge economy and economic globalization,agricultural science and technology is becoming the decisive factor of agricultural economic growth.In recent years,China's agricultural science and technology has made remarkable progress.The main innovation indicators of agricultural science and technology rank among the top in the world.The contribution rate of agricultural science and technology progress reached 58.3%in 2018.In order to implement the spirit of the No.1 central document in 2019 and strengthen agricultural technological innovation,the role of agricultural research institutions should not be underestimated.As the main gathering place of agricultural science and technology talents and the main force of agricultural science and technology innovation,the development of scientific research institutions engaged in agricultural research and related fields is related to the independent innovation ability and competitiveness of the region and even the country in agricultural science and technology.The in-depth research on the patents of agricultural scientific research institutions in agriculture and related fields can not only predict the development of agricultural science and technology The latest trend of the exhibition is to promote cooperation and exchange among different institutions,so as to realize complementary advantages and common progress.At the same time,it is also helpful for the state to refer to the latest developments in the field of agriculture,formulate the development strategy of agricultural science and technology in time,steadily improve the level of agricultural science and technology innovation and development in China,guarantee social stability and promote economic development.This paper selects the key scientific research institutions engaged in agricultural and related fields in the Yangtze River Delta as the research object,takes incopat patent database as the research basis,based on the patent output in the agricultural field during 2009-2018,and adopts the research method of combining comprehensive evaluation method and comparative research method to objectively and scientifically compare Jiangnan University,Zhejiang University,Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences Nanjing Agricultural University,Nanjing University of technology,Jiangsu University,Shanghai Jiaotong University,Zhejiang University of technology,Yangzhou University and Anhui Academy of Agricultural Sciences ten target institutions in the field of agricultural patent output,patent quality and other aspects,respectively,from the number of patents,patent quality and patent value three dimensions,build patent competitiveness evaluation system,and use entropy method to target The patent competitiveness of the standard institution shall be comprehensively scored.At the same time,from the key technology field,this paper makes indepth comparison and Analysis on the patent application of the target institution in the key agricultural technology field.Through comparative study,this paper draws the following conclusions:the top three institutions in the Yangtze River Delta are Jiangnan University,Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Zhejiang University.All of them have relatively excellent performance in 17 Patent competitiveness indexes,and there is no obvious development weakness.There is no significant difference in the weight of 17 Patent competitiveness indicators,which play an important role in the comprehensive evaluation of the patent competitiveness of the target institution in the agricultural field.The ten target institutions have both common and different emphases in the research topic of agricultural technology field,and the general direction is in line with the research direction of mainstream agricultural technology field in China,which is worth learning from each other.
