With the change of information technology and environment,the services of college libraries are facing restructuring and transformation,especially the demand for knowledge services oriented to user needs has increased,which has brought new propositions to the construction of college libraries.Facing new challenges,libraries are one of the important transformation measures through the optimization and reorganization of organizational structures and the establishment of a knowledge-oriented organization system.Some college libraries in the United States have taken the lead to effectively integrate the human resources of the library,improve the organizational operation performance and dynamic adaptability through organizational structure reform.They have relatively mature experience,but the reform of the organizational structure of domestic college libraries started late.Therefore,this article will make a comparative analysis and research on the organization settings of Chinese and American university libraries,and learn from the advanced experience of foreign organization optimization.The author conducted an online survey of the organization settings on the university library websites at home and abroad,and collected information on library profiles,department settings,organizational structures,and talent teams through the Chinese and foreign university library website systems.At the same time,the University Library of the Ministry of Education was used Data are supplemented by fact databases and published scientific literature.After more comprehensive statistics and analysis,in order to objectively examine the actual situation of the organizational structure of Chinese and American libraries;at the same time,compare and analyze the similarities and differences between the department settings,branch library models,and organizational management models of Chinese and American college libraries,and then from The three aspects of digital environment and technology,organizational strategy and goals,and user needs analyze the factors that promote the organizational structure of university libraries,with a view to providing scientific and reasonable reference for the optimization of the organizational structure of university libraries.Finally,the university books The library's academic research hotspots and the analysis of the organization's strategic development plan are used as the basis to understand the development trend of college libraries and provide directions for the optimization of the organization.The author's current situation and comparative analysis of the organizational structure reveals the current situation of domestic college libraries with rigid organizational structures,rigid department settings,and insufficient branch construction.It is recommended to upgrade the system technology department,add a cultural learning exchange department,and attach importance to strategic organization departments.,Increase the knowledge service department,strengthen the coordination of the head office,and summarize the four traditional linear,functional,head office and matrix organization structures commonly used in college libraries.In order to strengthen the pyramid organization structure,The transition of flat organizational structure,put forward optimization suggestions for adding a virtual center and strengthening the promotion of the team model.
