With the continuous development of modern warfare in the direction of high technology and informatization,the implementation of electronic warfare and information warfare has gradually become an important means on the battlefield.As an important part of capturing intelligence superiority and mastering battlefield initiative in information warfare,battlefield intelligence reconnaissance has always received extensive attention from various countries.In this context,individual soldier radar began to make its mark on the battlefield.Its light weight,small size,strong maneuverability,easy to carry by infantry,greatly enhance the reconnaissance ability on the battlefield,so that the commander can perceive the battlefield situation in time.In recent years,the threat of border conflicts in our country has been increased.The application of individual soldier radar can effectively enhance our country's advantages in border defense and anti-terrorism struggles,so it has received much attention.Millimeter-wave radars are widely used in various individual radars due to it's simple structure,high resolution,strong anti-interference,and all-day,all-weather detection capabilities.In this thesis,the corresponding signal processing algorithm research and hardware system design and implementation are carried out according to the combat technical indicators of millimeter wave individual soldier radar.(1)This thesis has studied the working principle and signal processing algorithm of the FM continuous wave millimeter wave radar,designed the corresponding signal processing parameters,framework and flow according to the combat technical indicators,and carried out a quantitative analysis through simulation;on this basis,Analyzed the amount of data and calculation,estimated the required hardware resources,determined the architecture of the signal processing system,and selected the appropriate processing chip.(2)According to the overall requirements of the radar system,the core processor,data transmission interface,servo control,attitude/position information monitoring,radio frequency monitoring,communication and other hardware circuits in the signal processing system are analyzed and designed,and elaborated The debugging process of each part is described.(3)The implemention of the signal processing algorithm on the hardware system have been completed;laboratory tests and field tests have been carried out to verify the functions and performance of the signal processing system.The field test results show that the millimeter-wave individual soldier radar designed in this thesis is stable,fully functional,and capable of meeting the design requirements,and has the ability to complete battlefield reconnaissance tasks.
