With the continuous advancement of millimeter-wave radar technology,millimeterwave radar is widely used in many fields such as military,autonomous driving,drones and smart wear.As the signal bandwidth of the radar system is getting larger and larger,the signal modulation method is getting more and more complicated,and the processing complexity is getting higher and higher.Therefore,the acquisition,storage and analysis of radar intermediate frequency signals are important means for the development,testing and experiment of high-performance radar systems.Especially when building a highperformance radar digital signal processing system,it is necessary to use a large amount of intermediate frequency data obtained in the experiment to repeatedly test the radar signal processing algorithm,and then to test,analyze and modify the relevant parameters.Therefore,in response to the demand of millimeter wave radar intermediate frequency signal acquisition,this thesis has developed a small modular,multi-channel,expandable and low power consumption universal millimeter wave radar intermediate frequency signal acquisition and analysis system to complete the acquisition of intermediate frequency signals,storage,transmission and analysis.The universal millimeter wave radar intermediate frequency signal acquisition and analysis system is composed of hardware and software.The hardware part includes an analog signal conditioning module and a digital signal acquisition module.The analog signal conditioning module includes a passive high-pass filter,a fully differential operational amplifier,and a multi-channel A/D conversion circuit;digital signal acquisition module mainly includes FPGA circuit,DDR3 SDRAM storage circuit,UHS-? SD card storage circuit and USB3.0 data transmission circuit,etc.;software part mainly includes USB3.0firmware development and radar intermediate frequency based on MATLAB related procedures for digital analysis of signals.The radar intermediate frequency signal first undergoes preprocessing and A/D conversion of the analog signal conditioning board,and then enters the digital signal acquisition board.The data acquisition board buffers the sampled data in DDR3 SDRAM memory or stored in UHS-? SD card,and then USB3.0 interface connects the board and the host computer to realize high-speed data transmission.On the host computer,using MATLAB software to conduct a preliminary analysis of the radar intermediate frequency signal.At the end of this study,the universal millimeter-wave radar intermediate frequency signal acquisition system is tested.The test results prove that the board can realize data acquisition,storage and transmission.Using MATLAB to conduct preliminary analysis of radar intermediate frequency signals,which lays the foundation for the research of highperformance radar digital signal processing algorithms.
