With the rapid commercialization of 5G,5G network construction is developing more and more deeply.In order to make sure the deployment and construction of 5G,the5 G drive tester is used to provide effective and efficient solutions for the evaluation of the external network.RF transceiver plays an important role in 5G drive testers.Higher requirement for are RF transceivers is proposed,due to the complexity and diversity of outfield scenes and the application of 5G.Under the circumstances,it is imperative to develop a new type of RF transceiver to provide stronger technical support for 5G drive tester instrument project.Based on on the major theme of Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology Commission "R&D and Application of 5G Drive Tester",this thesis studies the RF transceiver according to Release15 protocol and the actual requirements of the drive test application.The main research content is below.1.According to the project requirements,this thesis compares and analyzes the common transceiver structure,and determines the direct frequency conversion structure based on the ADRV9009 transceiver chip.At the same time,based on the analysis of system requirements,the overall architecture of a four-channel RF transceiver with3.5GHz frequency band,time division duplex mode,and maximum 100 MHz bandwidth is designed.2.Analysis based on the main design indicators of the subject,for the sensitivity,dynamic range of the receiver and the maximum transmit power and linearity of the transmitter,the design schemes of RF front-end receiving and transmitting links are proposed respectively;Using ADISim RF and ADS 2017 software to carry out the indicator budget and key parameter simulation analysis of the link scheme,the rationality of the scheme is verified;In addition,the device selection and circuit implementation of the key modules of the RF front-end have been completed.3.This thesis designs and implements the external signal interface of the ADRV9009 transceiver chip on the back end of the RF transceiver;Aiming at the problem of poor phase noise of the ADRV9009 chip,an external local oscillator module based on the LMX2594 phase-locked loop is designed.This module used a constant temperature crystal oscillator to provide a stable and low phase noise reference signal,and a loop filter is designed through the PLLatinum simulation software.Finally,the measured results verify that the phase noise of the local oscillator module meets the subject requirements.4.This thesis builds a RF transceiver test platform and designs a test scheme,and tests various indicators of the RF receiver and transmitter respectively.The test results show that the RF transceiver has good performance and all indicators meet the project requirements.In summary,according to actual project requirements,this thesis designs a direct frequency conversion RF transceiver architecture based on ADRV9009,and implements the key functional modules of the RF front-end and back-end,and builds a test platform for physical testing.The results reveal that the transceiver has excellent performance and meets the design requirements.
