With the advent of computer and information technology revolution and the proposal of the concept of "Internet +",Internet technology has been continuously innovated,and the Internet field has also been developing vigorously.In addition,how to recombine the knowledge resources we have possessed to produce innovation has attracted more and more attention in the academic circle.By reviewing the literature,we find that most of the previous studies focused on the enterprise level or the industry level to explore the impact of knowledge recombination on technological innovation from the social relations perspective of inventors,or focused on the impact of Internet technological innovation on other industries.However,few studies have explored how knowledge recombination ability affects the probability of Internet technology patent generation from the team level.Based on this,this paper studies the influence of knowledge recombination ability of R&D team on Internet technology innovation from the perspective of team level and team knowledge characteristics themselves,and introduces team experience to explore its moderating role in the process.Based on the theories of team innovation,knowledge recombination and path dependence,this paper analyzes the influence mechanism of three indicators of knowledge recombination,namely diversity,consistency and cognitive distance on Internet technology innovation,and how team experience plays a moderating role in it.In this paper,a total of 3,485,415 invention patent application data was collected from the United States Patent and Trademark Office(USPTO)during 1901-2004,and three indexes of knowledge recombination of R&D teams during 1995-2004 were calculated.Then,descriptive statistics,correlation analysis and regression analysis were carried out with Stata to verify six hypotheses.Through the empirical analysis,it is concluded that the knowledge variety of R&D team has a negative effect on Internet technology innovation;coherence has a negative effect on Internet technology innovation;cognitive distance has a positive effect on Internet technology innovation;team experience will weaken the negative impact of variety on Internet technology innovation;team experience will strengthen the negative influence of coherence on Internet technological innovation;team experience will weaken the positive influence of cognitive distance on Internet technological innovation.This study enriches and improves the theories related to knowledge recombination and provides some reference and suggestions for team strategic innovation and human resource management practice.
