Research On News Production Of Urban TV Station In The Process Of Media Convergence

As a product of the policy of "four levels of TV stations",urban TV stations are under the pressure of CCTV,provincial TV stations and the county-level convergence media center.At the same time,urban TV stations are under the pressure of new media in recent years.Urban TV stations are in urgent need of reform to realize transformation,and the key point of transformation is news production.Therefore,it is necessary to research the news production of urban TV stations in the process of media convergence.At the same time,it also has the value to promote the convergence of China's TV media and new media.This paper takes Ankang TV Station as the research object,using the field investigation,in-depth interview to analyze the typical cases.The research content is divided into the following aspects:First,review and summarize the history,current situation and reform of the urban TV stations;Secondly,shows the management system,channel construction and production mode of news production,points out the existing problems from the aspects of producer,production process and content;Thirdly,analyzes the causes of the problems by applying the theory of destructive innovation and the theories of journalism and communication;Fourthly,puts forward strategies for improving news production;Fifth,extracted general law from the case study,provide inspiration for other urban TV stations.The findings:First,news production is a systematic project.The complexity of news production determines the transformation of traditional news production,which requires not only the investment of capital,technology and manpower,but also the innovation of media system,operation mode and regulatory regime.Second,the media convergence in Ankang TV station is superficially.Despite the emphasis on "mobile first",news production activities are still dominated by TV,while new media are in a subordinate position.The producer,production process and production mode have not achieved transformation.Thirdly,the news production of Ankang TV station takes the communicator as the center and ignores the audience.There is a mismatch between content and audience needs.The media convergence reform has not brought better content,media convergence all in vain.According to the research,the news production of traditional media is in a specific social system and faces the dilemma of structural transformation.It is impossible to realize the innovation of news production only by relying on channel construction and the reform of communication mode.Therefore,traditional media need to explore in organizational structure,institutional mechanism,business model and other aspects.Focusing on the two main lines of content and service,build platform-based media and promote the upgrading of traditional media.
