Analysis Of Students' Borrowing Behavior

A large number of student borrowing data are recorded in the background database of university library management system,which contains a lot of valuable information.Through data analysis and mining technology,students' borrowing behavior rules can be obtained from the student borrowing data,which is convenient for the school to manage the student borrowing books and improve the quality of service.We should give full play to the role of libraries in teaching,scientific research and service in colleges and universities.Based on the above background,this study takes the borrowing data of the library of Xinjiang Normal University as the analysis basis,takes the undergraduates of Xinjiang Normal University as the research object,and analyzes and studies the borrowing behavior of students with the help of Bayesian algorithm and Apriori algorithm.Firstly,the data are classified and studied by Bayesian algorithm,and the differences of borrowing in different time periods,different books and different grades are obtained.Secondly,based on the Apriori algorithm,the paper carries out correlation analysis on the borrowing data of all undergraduates of the university,and finds the correlation information between books and between books and the college.Finally,based on the classification analysis of student borrowing behavior correlation analysis,according to the properties of the college selection of some colleges as research objects,analysis of the correlation information of the books borrowed by students of each college,college as a unit to compare the differences and similarities of the books borrowed by students of each college.The experimental results show that the books borrowed by students are closely related to their schools and majors,and the types of books borrowed by students are roughly the same:books of professional knowledge are mainly studied;Secondly,the whole school students prefer to read literature books,which is related to the school students' overall preference for liberal arts.Finally,as a normal student,I will borrow teaching books no matter what subject I major in,which is related to the attributes of the school.According to the experiment,it is concluded that the main purpose of students' borrowing books is to complete their studies.There are few books unrelated to their major,indicating that students have a high thirst for knowledge in their major,but their interest in extra-curricular knowledge is low.
