With the increasingly application of the new generation of information technology,the rapid development of information technology and the triple play,the audience have more and more choices to watch TV rather than only using cable TV.Especially the young people are willing to use mobile terminals as entertainment,such as mobile phones and tablet computers.It is obviously that the television and broadcast media such as IPTV,OTT TV,Internet video and mobile video is also becoming more and more diversified.At present,IPTV and national Internet TV have had a significant impact on cable TV operators.It is said that there are lot of weakness for the cable TV industry compared to the operators such as China Mobile and China Telecom because that the provincial cable TV operates independently,their cities and counties operate independently,therefore it is difficult to unify management,products and policies.JSCN has a total of 78 broadcasting and control platforms,but at present,the broadcast control platforms of cities and countries in Jiangsu Province are basically star structure,there are only 7counties directly covered by cities,and the remaining 56 counties(cities and districts)all have independent platforms,and their digital TV equipment have the same capacity as cities.However,there are many problems such as disunity of technology,disunity of service,large repeated investment,multiple fault points,uneven maintenance ability of districts and counties,low level of safety for broadcast and so on.According to the specific requirements and actual conditions,by using the unification of CAS(conditional access system),distributed EPG(electronic program guide)system and the IPQAM modulator(edge)key design,many problems have been solved such as the technology cannot unify and it cannot meet the demand of different cities and counties.As the 3-level broadcasting and control platform of JSCN is completed,it will play a role as a reference on the development of the national cable TV.Unified CAS is the core business support system for the optimized design of three-level broadcast control platform in Jiangsu cable province.The system is based on the open interface design and adopts functional modular design,which has high stability and reliability.It adopts a three-dimensional encryption system combining algorithm and key cycle to overcome the two kinds of encryption methods: algorithm alone and key cycle.The disadvantage of encryption system is that it has strong system security.Based on the traditional EPG,the distributed EPG system introduces the concepts of unified broadcast of bitstream,distributed deployment,service resource pool,transport stream resource pool,service group resource pool,real-time EIT,etc.,and creatively realizes the system allocation,scheduling and broadcasting of multiple digital TV broadcasting network resources and real-time program list broadcasting.
