Modern social science and technology are developing rapidly,and reforms are taking place in the fields of wireless communication,radar,remote control technology and satellite navigation.The core transceiver components also need to be updated with each passing day,setting higher standards for performance indicators.With the development of national defense and military,the demand for high-performance and miniaturized electronic products is increasing day by day.Based on this,the thesis designs a miniaturized,excellent flatness performance,high-gain ultra-wideband Ka-band updown conversion module.This thesis is based on the relevant research of frequency conversion components at home and abroad,and under the guidance of scientific theories such as transceiver structure,mixer and millimeter wave technology,the following research work has been done.First of all,this thesis analyzes the local oscillator source scheme in the frequency conversion module,and selects the phase-locked loop + quadruple frequency scheme design for processing.The local oscillator unit achieves the following indicators: the output frequency range is 20.5?24.5GHz,the spurious suppression is 60 dBc,the output power is 13 dBm,the phase noise is-93 dBc/Hz@100KHz,-98 dBc/Hz@1MHz.Secondly,this thesis analyzes the up-conversion unit scheme,and combines the existing theoretical research on the up-conversion design and processing.After the first version of the design,the design was revised because it did not meet the technical specifications.The revised up-conversion unit achieves the following indicators: output frequency range 23.5?30.5GHz,gain 45 dB,output 1dB compression point greater than 18 dBm,in-band power flatness within 3dB,spurious suppression above 50 dBc.Finally,this thesis analyzes the down-conversion unit scheme,and designs and processes the down-conversion unit.The down-conversion unit achieves the following indicators: the output frequency range is 3?6GHz,the intermediate frequency output of 0dBm,the output 1dB compression point is greater than 15 dBm,the in-band flatness is 4dB.In the millimeter wave communication system,the frequency conversion component,as one of its important components,plays a very important role,and it also has a wide range of applications in the fields of civil communication and military industry.Therefore,this thesis has great practical value for the research and exploration of variable frequency components.
