New media has changed the way and process of academic communication,and has brought great challenges to traditional media.Therefore,editing and publishing journals also need to adapt to the development of the times through digital transformation.The We Chat public account is favored by all walks of life due to its communication advantages.At present,the operation of the We Chat official account of editing and publishing journals is still in the growth stage,and editing and publishing journals need to better adapt to the development of new media.Therefore,in-depth research on the operation of the We Chat official account of editing and publishing journals has important practical significance.This paper selects representative CSSCI source journals of editing and publishing(2019-2020),publishing and distribution research,science and technology and publishing,modern publishing,friends of editors,Chinese science and technology journal research,China publishing and publishing science,as research objects.Combined with the big data of Qingbo,By means of content analysis,case analysis,comparative analysis and data analysis,this paper studies the current situation,success and shortcomings of the operation of We Chat official accounts of editorial and publishing journals under the background of digital transformation of journals,and puts forward feasible suggestions for the future development of We Chat official accounts of editorial and publishing journals.The first chapter introduces the research background,research significance,literature review,research content,research methods and innovations;chapter two analyzes the necessity of opening a public account for editing and publishing journals from the perspectives of internal promotion and external demand;The three chapters analyze the operation status of editing and publishing periodicals' We Chat official account from the perspectives of the name,Logo,certification,menu settings,number of fans,and WCI;Chapter 4 analyzes the current editing and publishing categories from the perspectives of journals,users,and editors.The successes and shortcomings of the operation of periodicals We Chat official accounts;Chapter Five proposes the optimization path of editing and publishing periodicals We Chat official accounts from five aspects: positioning,service,content,editing,and marketing.
