The agricultural periodicals is deemed as a vital means for agricultural communication by peoples and nation,such as dissemination of agricultural messages,agricultural technology extension and so on.To comply with the great change of media brought by technology development,at the same time, reducing the marginalization trend of agriculture periodicals,agriculture media has tried a lot in making use of new media,such as open e-paper, e-magazine and BBS,moreover,the popular social media like wechat and weibo have also been widely used,especially wechat public platform.As a mobile instant messaging software base on smart-phone, Wechat has been a overwhelmed popular application as soon as it be launched on line,only because of its convenience,cheap and strong privacy protection. Public platform,as a main function of wechat,has been viewed as the No.1 choice for brand promotion and message communication.It has been widely use in media,corporation,organization and star celebrity.Take wechat “Agricultural Wealth ”as a case,this article try to analyze it through statistic analysis,document analysis,questionnaire and in-depth interview. To fully analyzes it,the article research it though communication subject,contend,cha nnels of communication,users and promotion methods.Meanwhile,as a contrast,take a macroscopic view of other agricultural wechat public account.Based on the above research, I believe that the current agricultural periodicals wechat have some common problems of operation, such as poor user managements, push content messages with assimilation in paper media, wechat issues lacking of packaging designs, operators lacking of professional knowledge. Authors proposed several solutions for the current plight, rangi ng from strengthening service functions and user managements, making well-built home mode, using rich media resources actively, forming special operation teams, and so on. Finally we should realize that agricultural periodicals have unshakable position in the agricultural information delivery, in today’s society with the rapid development of new media technologies, if they use their own advantages,at the same time take the new media technologies as one of the carriers,then they will never fail in the wave of technological revolution.
