Research On The Library Website Service Of The Key University In Hefei Area

As a major part of the library system in China,university library is essentially different from other types of Libraries in terms of service objects.As the only literature resource center in Colleges and universities,the service audience of university library is mainly teachers and students.The essence of its service is to provide information resources support for the scientific research,study and work of teachers and students in Colleges and universities.Traditional university libraries mainly collect paper-based resources,including journals,conference reports,books,CD ROMs,multimedia resources,and so on.The information services they provide are also based on the collection resources,which has some limitations.With the popularity of the Internet,new requirements are put forward for the information services provided by university libraries,which require university libraries to provide diversified,personalized,efficient and convenient information services for readers and users based on the Internet.The 21 st century is an Internet age and an information age.Under this background,if university libraries want to complete the transformation from tradition to digitalization and informatization,they are bound to choose their own development direction in the new era,take the Internet as their own development platform,take digital resources as their collection form,and take readers' needs as their service center to establish their own library websites,To provide a more convenient communication platform between university teachers and students and university library.The website of university library is not only the digital platform of university library,but also the important platform of resource and information service of university library.The website service construction of university library not only shows the collection resources and service level of the library,but also represents the comprehensive strength of a university.It is an important symbol of university informatization and modernization.This paper starts from the construction of university library website,based on the research theory of previous scholars,through combing and summarizing a large number of research literature,starting from practice,systematically investigates the websites of eight first-class university libraries in Hefei,from four aspects: website interface layout,website content,website information release,website human-computer interaction and characteristic service The research is carried out in the following aspects.This paper finds out the problems in the construction of university library website,and gives the suggestions and prospects for the future construction of University Library Website Based on the analysis of the research conclusion.The writing ideas of this paper are as follows:The first chapter as the opening,summarizes the author in the initial literature research,for the library website construction of this topic at home and abroad research status;and lists the author's overall research arrangement and paper writing process.In the second chapter,as the theoretical support part of the paper,the author lists the related concepts of university library website construction,which mainly consists of two categories: website and the service characteristics of university library website,and each category is subdivided into different sub categories.The website is subdivided into three parts:Web page,layout and basic composition;the service features are explained from three aspects:service users,service positioning and service content.The third chapter,as the implementation of the survey,describes the purpose,object,method and content of the survey in detail,and roughly describes the contents of the website construction of eight university libraries in the form of tables.In the fourth chapter,as a specific description of the current situation of the survey,the survey contents are divided into four aspects: interface layout,web content,information release and other(characteristic functions and services),respectively describing the library of University of science and technology of China,Hefei University of technology,Anhui University,Anhui Medical University,Anhui Agricultural University and Anhui architecture The website construction details of university library,Anhui University of traditional Chinese medicine and Hefei University Library.In the fifth chapter,as the analysis of the survey results,the author analyzes and summarizes the related problems.In the sixth chapter,as the corresponding countermeasures?suggestions and summary,the author makes his own understanding and suggestions on the construction of university library website from different aspects.Through the systematic investigation and analysis of the website service construction of eight first-class university libraries in Hefei area,we know the current situation of the website service of University Libraries in Anhui Province: Web page layout,website content,operation management,resource construction and user experience.According to the data obtained from the survey,the paper makes further analysis and treatment,sorts out the problems and deficiencies existing in the process of university library website service construction,and puts forward suggestions for this,so as to provide research support for the follow-up website optimization and service improvement.
