Public libraries play a pivotal role in the development of public cultural undertakings,and their goal is to meet the public's demand for various types of knowledge resources.The document delivery services of traditional libraries mainly focus on collecting,borrowing,and reading.The types of resources cannot keep up with the needs of readers,the resource acquisition channels are single,the degree of ubiquity is low,the document delivery service methods are too conservative,and the effective interaction rate with readers The low-level drawbacks make it difficult to meet the diverse needs of readers in the new era.At this stage,in order to better adapt to the general background of the smart era,many public libraries have carried out the intelligent upgrade and reform of document delivery services,allowing document delivery services to break through the limitations of time and space,and realize public books to a greater extent.The three-dimensional interconnection of the libraries provides readers with a higher level of personalized service,which greatly improves service efficiency and quality.However,with the development of information technology,the public has put forward more and higher requirements for the document delivery service of public libraries.In fact,there are still problems such as imperfect service mechanism and limited service scope.Therefore,it is urgently needed.Analyze the crux of the problem and seek improvement measures.This article comprehensively uses case analysis,comparative analysis,questionnaire survey and interview methods to study the intelligent service mechanism of document delivery in public libraries in my country,and specifically elaborates the rise,content composition and mechanism of the intelligent service of document delivery in public libraries.The conditions of operation are guaranteed,and the similarities and differences of typical practices in smart services at home and abroad are analyzed.At the same time,combined with the case of the J province library,the current situation of the document delivery smart service mechanism is analyzed.In actual operation,the J Provincial Library has already covered some smart services,optimized the document delivery process,and increased the utilization rate of document resources,but objectively there are still certain limitations,such as the mismatch between document supply and readers' needs,and sharing mechanisms.Inconsistent,insufficient innovative ideas,and low effective interaction rate with readers,etc.Based on this,it is necessary to use artificial intelligence and information technology to build a more powerful document delivery intelligent service platform,closely connect various independent public library information and data islands,expand the scope of resource sharing,strengthen innovative cooperation,and promote communication with readers.With a view to further improve the document delivery wisdom service mechanism,so as to better serve the readers.
